So, how much words are you to having?

 

It's kind of hard for me to determine that, as my shitty version of word pad doesn't have that feature, and the website I use counts spaces as words, but not solitary words on seperate lines. This means that if I put two spaces after a period, that becomes two words, but something like:

 

Dolphins!

 

Midget!

 

Apple.

 

Are not counted at all, and I would add them up manually for the final total. So, I've found a new site that seems to do a decent job, and I think it said around 1.2k Still a bit more for me to go. Wheeee~!

I have around 2,500, and I think I'll aim for around six or seven thousand. Honestly, I really doubt I'll beat Mag with it. I guess it's a case of too much too soon, and the title shot just seemed too daunting, and in the end I've been too inactive to really get into the swing of things.

Really not much of a comedy writer, particularly the sort of WACKY humor that's generally prevailent in the SWF and a match like this is designed for. I'll probably throw together a thousand words of mass incoherant retardation and see how things go anyway, i can't pass up the opportunity to write against An Octopus at the very least.

I'm in the ballpark of 5000 words or so - and there are a few locations in the hockey arena that we've yet to visit.

Well I'm done writing and not a moment too soon as my "match writing window" closes in about 2 hours.

 

So no "late night sit until 4 AM" marathon session for me (with the time difference the deadlines usually fall around 2-6 AM for me)

 

and the final count?

 

I'm actually 700 words of what I originally estimated the match would last (I guess 7 years of estimating has finally paid off)

I hope it beats WC's match as I think it's pretty good, particularly the second half, but WC's awesome so I dunno.
