Guest Sabu Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I think Northwestern St.'s gamewinner just beat yesterday's gamewinner by Tennessee. Holy crap what a shot.
naiwf Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 HOLY SHIT! Â What a 3 by NW ST! Â It's upset city bay-bee with a capital U! Â Bucknell cherry picks for the go ahead deuce.
therealworldschampion Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I imagine Iowa people wouldn't be shedding many tears if Alford decided to leave for Indiana now.
Guest Sabu Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Argh, come on Bucknell. Iowa and Wisconsin both have blown it for me today, so Bucknell better win.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Awesome. I love college basketball.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Awesome. I love college basketball. Â I'm not a big fan of college basketball, but I love the Tourney. Â Good God Bucknell's doing everything but give this game away. Three straight missed FTs after shooting 90% to that point? Jay-sus.
naiwf Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Badmus is a bad man. Bucknell is the new Gonzaga. I hope they dump Memphis, assuming Seth Davis isn't right about Oral Roberts pulling off the greatest upset of all time of course.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Northwestern St. wins. Awesome. Â Once they got the offensive rebound I knew that they were going to make a three. I would have bet my life on it
C Dubya 04 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Great early games. I love online ondemand hoops. Makes work so much better. Â Iowa losing doesn't hurt me at all, as I have them going down next round.
Bored Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Okay enough with the "Juniper Network Shot of the Day" commercial. Â Pac-10 with three blow out wins. Now if Cal loses I'll be incredibly happy with the 1st round.
AboveAverage484 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 What's up with those puss boys at Iowa? If there is one thing I hate about the tourney and their accompanying pools it's when a team blows a huge lead. First UNCW and now Iowa.
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Ack... 1-3 this morning. My bracket is busted. Oh well. Although, I didn't have Iowa making the Sweet 16, so not too bad. Â Awesome shot. That's what makes the NCAA tournament great. A team from Bumfuck, Louisiana beating mighty Iowa. And Alford, please go to IU, so they can't win any tourney games either.
iggymcfly Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I had a 1-3 morning too. Pretty ugly. Â Really though, the early rounds are all about keeping your Elite 8 type teams intact. I had Syracuse and Iowa winning one more game each, but I haven't lost any Elite 8 teams yet, so I think I'm still in decent shape.
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Not in my main pools where seed number gives you more points. My 0-3 record in the 8-9 games is murdering me.
KingPK Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I only lost Iowa, but I had them losing to WV in the next round anyway. Â I'm attempting not to jinx it, but I'm happy with how my money pool bracket is looking right now. I've only lost two Sweet 16 teams (Marquette and Seton Hall).
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I've lost 0 Sweet 16 teams so far. I shouldn't bitch. And somehow I'm still 9th and 9th in my main pool. Â Enough of my gambling problems... this has really been a great tourney thus far. But, this next group of games will probably be boring.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Here we go folks, everyone cheer with me: Â WE WANT ORAL! WE WANT ORAL! WE WANT ORAL!
Damaramu Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I never would've believed that the Big East would not have a win in the first round yet. Oh well they'll probably get some today.
mike546 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Did this Nova team REALLY beat UConn this year? What the hell are they doing out there?
Guest Sabu Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Yeah, I have them as my national champs too and they're playing like shit.
Guest Sabu Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Oral Roberts is up by 4 over Memphis, wow.
Damaramu Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 At least someone is representing the state of Oklahoma. Jeez.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 27-16 at the half, Nova. Did they get rid of the shot clock or something?
Hawk 34 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Iowa, losing hurt. I'm still alive in my smaller $ bracket but it hurt my big pool and the tsm one. Â Now, I just want mass upsets. Go Monmount and Roberts.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Well, looks like ORU threw their best shot, but Memphis is too athletic for them. Roberts might have a run or two in them but Memphis should win by about 20.
SilverPhoenix Posted March 17, 2006 Author Report Posted March 17, 2006 Well, looks like ORU threw their best shot, but Memphis is too athletic for them. Roberts might have a run or two in them but Memphis should win by about 20. Â With the way this tournament has gone, I wouldn't count them out yet.
naiwf Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 Do my eyes deceive me? Are Big East teams actually winning games they should?
