Mr. S£im Citrus Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Shitdamnmotherfucker! :: sighs :: At least the Lakers lost, too, I guess... But now Wednesday becomes a big game.
Guest Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 The officiating is so consistent. Consistently terrible.
mike546 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Alert the media! Jerome James is in double digit points!
Brett Favre Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 He was also in double figures a few nights ago, but he got mad tired. He's alright when he tries and is in some kind of shape.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Clippers finally win a game at Houston Clippers 13 games over .500 for the first time since the Buffalo Braves did it in 76.
jwpeer Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Anyone know why TNT games are Tuesday this week instead of thursday? Are they afraid of the ncaa tournament?!?
jwpeer Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Yeah, pretty much. Confirmed. They just said it on the air "We thought cus of the ncaa tournament, we'd go on tuesdays" In other words: Our ratings were going to suck more competing, than suddenly switching the timeslot up
jwpeer Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Damn AK-47 with the behind the back move. That was insane.
Gert T Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I am determined to save all of my pennies from now until next November to get NBA League Pass. There are too many good games this week I'll be missing. That and being a Jazz fan I am getting my token National TV game tonight.

I'll probably convince my parents to pay for it for me for an x-mas gift. Deron Williams is looking better recently. I think he's adapting well, after looking terrible early in the season. Edit: He's just plain controlling the end of this game right now. Wow.
naiwf Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 According to PTI, Steve Francis has demanded a trade if he's not going to be starting next year. I'm SHOCKED I tell you. Shocked.
Guest fanofcoils Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 So when will Kobe "step up" and score 80 points again?
Guest Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 According to PTI, Steve Francis has demanded a trade if he's not going to be starting next year. I'm SHOCKED I tell you. Shocked. Why the hell isn't he starting to begin with?
Guest fanofcoils Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 I wonder how ppl think the Miami Heat have ANY shot at winning it all when the bulk of their team is old and unathletic (I'm pointing to you Shaq, Zo, and Payton). I don't even think Shaq is a top 20 player as he is slow and unathletic, it is hard to take a slow big guy THAT seriously. He is good but not that good and he is overrated. Shaq used to be great 5+ years ago, and was a top 5-10 player 2+ years ago but he has fallen big time in value. I can see the Heat losing in the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs in a "shocker" perhaps similar to the "shocker" they suffered against the Hornets in 2001 and then Heat fans cry that perhaps Riley and Shaq need to go and the Heat should rebuild.
bobobrazil1984 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 ^ you must be psychic or something. Zo just went down.
Brett Favre Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 According to PTI, Steve Francis has demanded a trade if he's not going to be starting next year. I'm SHOCKED I tell you. Shocked. Read the papers, that shit was out yesterday. He didn't say it like that. He just said that this year he understands why he isn't starting, but next year that he'll expect to start, and if that isn't the case, he'd like to go in a different direction. It wasn't like "Fuck Larry, I wanna start." And he should be starting anyway, so he can learn how to play with Marbs.

Having two midget sized combo guards on the same team was, is, and forever will be a bad idea on the pro level. Chalk this one up to Isiah being the biggest idiot running a team today and not being able to see the forest for the trees yet again.
alfdogg Posted March 23, 2006 Author Report Posted March 23, 2006 Zo may be old, but he's anything but unathletic. You do have to keep in mind that the man has had a kidney transplant. Everyone gets hurt once in a while.
bobobrazil1984 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 sounds like Zo's out for the rest of the regular season, maybe even the playoff start. the other thing is, Zo actually landed fine, this wasn't one of those "my ankle lands at a weird angle" sprains, its a TORN CALF. Don't those usually come from wear and tear and overworking yourself? edit; i'm answering my own question, but I found out, yes for athletes such as basketball it is indeed an "overuse injury"

I don't see why the Knicks didn't look at Lil' Nate as a superstar in the making and let him start the point to get some experience, considering this season's long been over. Knicks should start Robinson-Marbury-Crawford-Frye-Curry, or would this be a bad idea? Then again, considering the whole Starbury-Brown feud, it could be that exact same starting five, just substitute Marbury for Francis, but that would leave them with a real small backcourt.
naiwf Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 LeBron finally hit a game winner. Woo. What that turd on the Bobcats was thinking when he went to shade Z for 3 instead of Flip, I'll never know. The fact the Cavs needed a Jake Voskuhl missed FT, a miracle 3 at the buzzer AND a game winner in OT against the Bobcats AT HOME doesn't make me think they will do well in the postseason. 'Zo's torn calf all but guarantees another Detroit Pistons NBA Finals appearance. Yawn.
bobobrazil1984 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 he actually should be back and healthy by the ECF if what i've read is accurate. of course me being me thinks they win the series even with zo.

I'm more concerned about Shaq burning up minutes that would have went to Zo in the earlier rounds. The Heat seem to be snakebitten with late injuries to key players.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Kwame Brown. That's all.Damn if I know what it is about the Kings that makes Kwame Brown temporarily un-shitty, but I think that six of the seven best games of his career have come against Sacramento... On second thought, I know exactly what it is: we're too goddamned soft! Some of these pussified 6'10" jumpshooters make me sick... fucking sissies: get in the paint and knock somebody around! Why do all these soft fuckers get to win the genetic lottery? Let me be 6'10"...
Dangerous A Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Slim, some guys just get it going specifically for Sac and Kwame is one of them. It goes the other way as well where a guy who normally goes off on normal teams has little success against Sac (or whoever for that matter). You still have a great point in that a lot of the inside guys don't want to bang. Artest and Bonzi are our best bangers and they play the 2 and the 3 spots.
