chirs3 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 Even if you've told CC before, tell us again, just to be certain. And if you have no specific plans, feel free to make requests anyway (or at least "Don't book me against so-and-so or in random gimmick match" comments). We'll do our best to accomodate. Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 I have it "on good authority" that I'll be facing the winner of the Kevin Coyote/Jimmy the Doom match at Battleground. As long as it's not a gimmick match, I don't care.
Sly 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 I never have any plans, but would take a match if it was presented to me...
Guest Grendel Report post Posted April 14, 2006 I have nothing to do. Could I have a chance with a title match or do I need to be here longer?
Bruce Blank 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 Oh you already know what plans I have 8) the stipulation will be laid on on Smarkdown by IL
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 At the risk of spoiling the promo on Smarkdown, JJ vs. Maddix for the World Title. There might be a stip, that's still being discussed. But JJ/Maddix it is. And something else which I'm not sure on yet involving some certain ladies.

Guest The Satanic Angel Report post Posted April 14, 2006 No apparent plans for Battleground, other than some in-between match promoage. Just as long as there isn't a Calvinball IV, I'm okay.
Toxxic 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2006 Amy Stephens vs Megan Skye, but that'll be made clear on Smarkdown.
Guest OKCoyote Report post Posted April 14, 2006 Right now my plan is to defeat Jimmy the Doom and take on Wildchild for the International title. And if that doesn't happen... hmm. I'll get back to you.

Sly 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 You could put a lot of us in some sort of battle royale, zanny or not, for a shot at one of the few titles that we have anymore. Alternatively... why do we only have four titles? ... oh wait... Cruiserweight. Who's that champ again?

Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 If I don't beat Kevs, I think The New Doomtopians vs. Action Platypus & An Octopus (Or maybe A Bear instead of An Octopus, but definitely Action Platypus) would be good. Guest OKCoyote Report post Posted April 15, 2006 Oh, if I do win I'd like to request Falls Count Anywhere for the International title match. Dub-Cee, are you cool with that?
Sly 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 Oh, if I do win I'd like to request Falls Count Anywhere for the International title match. Dub-Cee, are you cool with that? Maybe a bit curious... but why? Is there some build to this?
JJ Johnson 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 I think it adds a bit of old-school flavour to the International Title. Back in the day, Falls Count Anywhere was the big death stip, and since the INT has been defended almost exclusively in wrestling-based matches, barring Russell Crowe's Favorite Match and the cage match, this helps enhance the mystique of the belt, per se. Or maybe Coyote just wants to go hardcore.
Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 We had another Russell Crowe's favorite match? Because I'm pretty sure Buck v Hawke was non-title. I thinks....
Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2006 I've got to co-sign Sly on this; any reason in particular?
JHawk 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 Russell Crowe's Favorite Match was non-title, as that was lunacy to be a title match stip even by SWF standards.
JJ Johnson 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 Alright, so I stand corrected. That gives the International Title even more old-school cred.
JHawk 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 Exactly the goal I had when I first won it. Even the match I lost the title is basically the old school blowoff, the cage match.
Angel_Grace_Blue 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 We need to have a really garbage/hardcore match for an upper-tier title. I say JJ and Landon have running chainsaws attached to their arms and legs for Battleground.
Guest OKCoyote Report post Posted April 16, 2006 What, why does everybody look so puzzled? It was just a stip I wanted to try out. I'm not really going for wacky hardcore violence like you'd see in a HCG/UV/whatever-the-hell-it-is title match. The International title is a top-tier championship (at least in my mind) and I wouldn't think to disrespect it. While essentially having the same rules as "hardcore" or "street fight" matches (read: none), "falls count anywhere" generally tends to imply a more straight-laced wrestling contest that just happens to have a larger field of play. If you're really worried about an FCA match degenerating into chaos (Avery interference, for example, or weapon use), we could go as far as to leave disqualification in effect - that should take care of things quite nicely, I'd think. Hey, it's your belt, defend it how you want. Basically the whole idea was that I've been kind of quiet the last few weeks (around here anyways - been freakishly busy IRL), and now I've been given a goal that I think I have a fair chance of achieving (no disrespect intended to GOdrea, who is no slouch herself). That said, seeing as we didn't have any build, I was just hoping to be able to add my two cents to the equation. ...I don't know if I made any sense in the last paragraph. But like I said, do as you like.
JJ Johnson 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2006 I like the thought of FCA w/ disqualifications. Not my belt or my call, though.
