RavishingRickRudo Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 The idea that Bret blamed Hogan for a bunch of things that happened in his career. I've listened to many-a-Hart interview (more than just about everyone here) and Hart didn't blame Hogan for what happened in WCW, and in regards to their Summerslam 93 match, Bret said they had shot photos for it and it ended up not happening for some reason. He didn't implicitly say or blame Hogan for that. The interview I posted showed how little ill-will Bret had for Hogan at least up until 2002. I disagree with Meltzers opinion at times, but he is -by far- the most credible reporter on wrestling and attempts to discredit him in this thread don't hold much water. Meltzer is merely relaying what Bret has said about Hogan in the past and I can verify that to be true because I have heard that from Bret in the past as well. There's little reason to doubt that Hart's opinion on Hogan changed after seeing Hogan bury him in the SCREWED interview.
Lord of The Curry Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Oh boy. Dissention between Rudo and Curry. You think that's bad, wait until UFC 60 rolls around. We be warrin' over shit on that PPV. (GO HUGHES)
RavishingRickRudo Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Oh boy. Dissention between Rudo and Curry. No no no no. You've got it all wrong. LOTC probably didn't read the whole thread and thus didn't get the context of the Bret Hart interview. There is no rift between LOTC and I. No Mega-Power-like break up. No explosion. Everything is fine.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 I really want to see 2 Cold Scorpio on the ECW card this year. P.S. RRR is mad because LOTC is my personal bitch for a month

RavishingRickRudo Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Actually you mean "Shamrock laying on top of Royce for a half hour and landing one good punch". Now, Royce beating Ken in under a minute, THAT'S owning.

Lord of The Curry Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 "What? No Gi? Well I'm fucked. Perhaps I can wear this stylish black sweater instead and somehow use that to cheat.....er.......choke my way to victory."
Lord of The Curry Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=96 Yes?
buffybeast Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 When boogeyman returns in Sept or October, he will be over 42 years old What a damn minute. Boogey is going to be out until the fall? WTF?? Didn't realize his injury was that serious. Damn, I like Boogey.
cabbageboy Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 One thing Bret ought to realize is that Hogan was likely working on that SCREWED interview. As in just saying stuff to appease Vince. I bet if Bret actually talked to Hogan about it Hogan would charm him and get him to forget about it.
Lord of The Curry Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Well, he DID have a stroke. I imagine it wouldn't be that hard.
haVoc Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Hogan also said on Confidential Bret was to blame for the down fall of WCW. I remember Bret posted that right around the time of that Confidential piece and thinking Hogan was a scumbag.... and Bret was a bit delusional.

WTF?? Didn't realize his injury was that serious. Damn, I like Boogey. I'm hoping he's back on TV just to scare people WAY sooner than that... the crowd was chanting for Boogey while Booker T was trying on the King of the Ring crown, and Lashley coming out to spear him just didn't quite fulfill the crowd's wishes.
Gary Floyd Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 When Vince was a teen , he went to church all the time to be with Linda If this didn't involve Vonce and Linda, I would think that's kind of cute.
FroGG_NeaL Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 The crowd in St. Louis was dying for Boogie. I think they're kayfabeing his injury, to be that he only pops up to terrify people at certain times. Which is in his gimmik anyway...
Guest J0bber Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 RW Animal wants off the road and is angling for an agent’s job Thank god!
Masked Man of Mystery Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 RW Animal wants off the road and is angling for an agent’s job Thank god! Seriously, he tried to destroy his legacy by renouncing what made him famous: tag team wrestling. And while it may be true that Hawk was not always in the best shape as his partner, you don't say that kind of thing just for heel heat Orton was wrong too, but Animal and Hawk were close as a couple of guys can be it seemed from the DVD. I really hope this little run is one of those convieniently forgotten things in WWE history.
Guest The Mandingo Warrior Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 From the sounds of it, it sounds like Randy Orton farted in public...for the last time...

Actually, for a while Animal was probably in much better shape than Hawk, notably in their second WWF run, but that's a minor point.
FroGG_NeaL Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 The whole Road Warrior gimmick change has been ass. The shit he said about Hawk pissed me off, and I VERY rarely get legit angry at any form of entertainment.
Guest Bulldogs'86 Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 What did Hogan say about Bret in the "Screwjob" interview? Didn't Bret recently say that he snubbed Hogan at the HOF ceremony because Hogan had snubbed him at Wrestemania IX after he won the title from Yokozuna? Odd that he would still hold a grudge over that 1993 incident yet rave about what a great guy Hogan is in his 2002 Calgary Sun article.
