2GOLD 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 You know, the first 5 minutes of Passions is the funniest goddamned thing on television right now. Its like Troll 2 bad. the acting is horrible and some what the fuck moments are bound to happen. My favorite is the little girl who speaks through thought bubbles that pop up on the screen with a "pop" sound effect. She was recently kidnapped by witches. With the witch hats....and the witch pot...real witches. And they are completely serious. Which makes it all the more hilarious. I just watch up until the lady sings "Passions for LIIIIIIIIIIFE" so I don't know what the fuck happens after that, but who cares...what happens before is hilarious. Passions has always been like this and that is why it is the greatest god damn television series in history. Even if you watch every episode, you have no idea what the hell is going on and you can't seem to bring yourself to stop watching. Zombies, witches, dolls that come to life, talking cats and about a 1000 other crazy fantasy hilarious mess.

Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 last August, while staying in the hospital after my son was born, I had the pleasure of watching one of the CBS soaps and the storyline was kids at a summer camp getting stalked and killed off by a mysterious masked psycho...yeah.. Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2007 I was bored earlier in the week at 10:00 and was surfing the channels and came across The Wonder Years on ION television. I remember watching a few episodes when I was eight and thinking it wasn't that great of a show but I have watched the episodes they have aired all week and I'm hooked. I never realized how funny and interesting this show was. I do remember hearing that releasing the 115 episodes of the series on DVD was stuck due to getting licensing for the music but is there a website out there I could find a way to order them from anyway? Thanks ahead of time.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2007 There were a couple of "Best of" DVDs that came out way back in '98 (with the music edited), but yeah, those music issues that you referenced is what's holding everything up.
Karnage 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2007 So apparently now, Blockbuster has decided to only stock Blu Ray titles. Could this be the end of HD-DVD?
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2007 Rey Misterio Sr. plays a deranged Luchador who terrorizes some filmakers and actors (Including Leyla) making a porno. He likes to peel his victim's faces off and use them as trophies, and still thinks that he's competing under Lucha Libre rules. This will either be horrible or the movie people wanted "See No Evil" to be. Either way, I must see this. Oh, the original title was "The Mexican Porn Massacre." KingPK 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2007 If you missed the Star Wars-themed Robot Chicken, you can watch it here. Even if you've never seen an episode of the show, I would recommend watching it because it is hilarious.

Unfortunately, he's too old to do high flying moves now, so I just hope pulls off some of the really weird submission moves lucha libre is known for.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2007 I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but what the hell. I just got back from a late trip to WalMart and they had a bunch of new stuff in the $5.50 bin. Actually, I should say the $5.00 bin now since that's what they're converting it to now. The word is that a ton of new stuff will be showing up soon, really good stuff too. Anyway, the main one that caught my eye was the Escape From New York 2-disc set. I already have it so I didn't buy it, but there you go for those who have been wanting to pick that one up.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2007 Yeah, it's being promoted like mad on myspace. It looks extremely bad. My half brother is trying to talk my fiancee into getting us to take my nieces. This may be the one case where I may intentionally break something on my body to avoid going.

King Kamala 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2007 I'm probably going to see Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter on Friday night. I just found out about it last night. I'm not sure what to expect, whether it's going to be stand up or sketch/improv(Hopefully the latter). But I'm a fan enough of them to spend $15 to buy a ticket to it. Couple other good movies but nothing special, but yeah, the quality of the 5 dollar movie bin is getting a bit better.. June 26th marks an interesting day for me. I have not one..but 2 movies with Justin Timberlake in it (alpha dog/Black Snake Moan) via online rental/free instore rental..wow
the max 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 I just watched the season 1 finale of 24 on A&E. Not only does that entire season still hold up, the finale is still wildly entertaining and actually wraps things up nicely. Still the best season finale in recent memory, IMO. They had a lot to cover going into it and they covered it all without introducing anything new to step in and save a main character. They showed no fears in killing a "main" character off and the action sequences were actually believable. A great, great finale to still the best overall season of a tv show that I have ever seen. luke-o 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2007 Yeah, I remember reading about that when I was searching through Jason Lee's work a few months back. And the season finale to 24 season 1 was amazing, I still remember watching it. Ive actually been watching through seasons 3 and 4 (I've got a lot of time on my hands while I'm unemployed and I've finshed watching all of my Twilight Zone DVDs) and it just make me realise how shit the 6th season was, I didn't even finish watching it.
