Mole 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2006 So it will make about $20 million all together which will warrant a sequel because Vince is, well, Vince.

Looks like they got no one but WWE fans. I think we all expected the movie to open up in at least 2,000 theaters. Although, adjusted for the 1,200 screens it played on, $4.3 million is still a pretty sad number.

In the tradition of the Aliens vs Predator and Freddy vs Jason the next WWE Film should be Boogieman vs UMANGA
Ginger Snaps 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2006 See No Evil will still probably wind up making money. The domestic gross (when it's all said and done) will probably cover the production costs, maybe even the promotion costs, and they'll make their money with international gross and DVD sales. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2006 I dont have any particular inclination to see DaVinci Code even though I enjoyed the book as a popcorn read... but I'm glad to see the christian right doesn't have nearly the influence I feared.

CheesalaIsGood 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2006 Nobody should be surprised at how well DVC would do prior to the reviews that came out. It had be groomed to be a hit. But when the reviews hit I was sure it would bomb since not only were they negative... but they were REALLY negative. Having only read the book recently maybe I was underestimating the books popularity. Oh well catholics. Deal with it or don't.

Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2006 DaVinci Code will probrably have a huge dropoff next weekend with X-3 and people holding out listening to bad reviews, but on a moneymaking level, it made $224 million worldwide, which makes it a financial success.
