chaosrage Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 oh fuck, boris has to sit out.. not good news for the suns
CanadianChris Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Does Dirk having a horrible game mean he's going to go off for 50 more on Monday night?
Just John Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 This game has been hard to watch with all the foul calls. When did the refs get so strict?
Ripper Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Since they decided to make the game about them. Honestly, anygame that has been ridiculously close called it has been this same crew.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Does Dirk having a horrible game mean he's going to go off for 50 more on Monday night? Â Not so fast there...
naiwf Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 It's Dick Vendetta's crew. You can expect T's, and shitty calls all night long, all night, all night long. Â I'd love for the Suns to choke this one up just because I would end up missing Game 7 due to a commitment I can't break.
Just John Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 The Suns have come to a screeching hault in this one. They need to pick up the pace very soon. Â And Dick Bavetta should never be allowed to ref an NBA game again.
The Robfather Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Man, why are they jacking up all these 3s? Both teams.
naiwf Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 How was that not a flagrant on Barbosa? He threw a flying lariat at Howard's head.
Ripper Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 How was that not a flagrant on Barbosa? He threw a flying lariat at Howard's head. Â I am guessing you just turned to the game.
Brett Favre Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 He was faked, and nearly busted his own ass. Not intentional.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Assuming Dallas wins, when's the last time two teams played in the NBA Finals for the first time?
Just John Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 I have to give props to the Mavs D. They really are all that. I wasn't sure they improved enough to stop the Suns, but sure enough they did. Nash and Marion have done relatively nothing in this game. Â American Airlines series anyone?
Brett Favre Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 1971. I think they said it was Milwaukee and Baltimore.
Bored Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Yup, it's 1971. Milwaukee Bucks swept the Baltimore Bullets.
naiwf Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 How was that not a flagrant on Barbosa? He threw a flying lariat at Howard's head. Â I am guessing you just turned to the game. Â Yep. I was watching the Mets salvage a game in a horribly played doubleheader. I got here just in time to watch Phoenix implode. Good times. Good times.

I was watching the Mets salvage a game in a horribly played doubleheader. I got here just in time to watch Phoenix implode. Good times. Good times. Okay. Because two plays earlier Dirk did the same to Diaw...except somehow it wasn't a shooting foul.
The Robfather Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 I think that's that  Mavs onto the finals
naiwf Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Okay. Because two plays earlier Dirk did the same to Diaw...except somehow it wasn't a shooting foul. Â Both should have been flagrant fouls if they tried to land a heavy blow on the opponent's skull instead of making a play for the ball. In a Dickie V. game, I'm surprised neither got tossed from the game.
iggymcfly Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Dallas really did a tremendous job on the defensive end in the second half there. Obviously, having Terry play more than three minutes turned around the offense, but I think it's really the team defensive effort that got them by Phoenix. Â Next stop, the Finals!
Brett Favre Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Congrats to the Mavs. They were the best team all year really. Â And the Suns are probably the toughest team in the NBA IMO. I can't think of a team who's made it this far without their best player (or best player 1-A), and only pretty much played like 6-7 players a night in the playoffs. Good year, and I'll be rooting for them to make it next year with Amare.
Vern Gagne Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 It was 1957. Boston vs St. Louis. Â Baltimore won in 1948.
chaosrage Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Someone punch Bell in the face for making those 2 three's at the end.
alfdogg Posted June 4, 2006 Author Report Posted June 4, 2006 One thing I just remembered. In the '02 Finals, a lot of people (Kenyon Martin, in particular) pointed the finger at KVH for his performance. Now he could win a ring before anyone on that team. How does that John Lennon song go, again?
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 So Miami beats the represented "DEFENSIVE" team at home in 6, Dallas beats the represented "OFFENSIVE" team on the road in 6.
