Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 A ways back I told myself I'd hate the band (thinking they'd be like Fall Out Boy?), but after borrowing Final Straw from a friend and listening to it a few times in the car, I really grew to like them. Anyway, their new cd Eyes Open is also quite good. Check out "Hands Open," "Chasing Cars," and "It's Beginning to Get to Me" for starters. And from Final Straw, "Chocolate," "Run," and "Spitting Games." I'm not sure what it is that sets them apart from other bands like Keane or The Fray, but I dig Snow Patrol a lot, especially considering I'm not a big fan of the genre.
