So can Tito with one leg still lay an ass-kicking on Ken? All signs point to yes.

But seriously I never liked Tito and always thought Ken was a decent guy. But this season of the Ultimate Fighter has made me do a complete 180.

Now I don't mind Tito and find his brash arrogance entertaining(although i still think forrest won) and I can't stand Ken.

So I'll be looking for Tito to lay another beatdown on Ken.

How the hell did Ken Shamrock get so popular anyway when he sucks so bad? I mean I watched old UFC's and I know he won some there but those guys were inferior competition weren't they?

Ken was an American who "looked like a fighter" and was more skilled than most of the tards fighting in MMA back then. Add some slick advertising & a stint in the WWF and you have overrated egomaniac who is somehow considered relavent in modern MMA.

How many UFC fights has he had since being back from WWE?

An ass-kicking from Tito........an ass-kicking from Rich Franklin........and he beats another loser in Kimo.

Then we find out how horrible he is on TUF.

And everyone already know about his ego.

Yeah I don't understand how anyone can support him at this point.

I find that most people who don't realize Ken is a chode tend to be incredibly stupid rednecks and/or females.

Oh, and fags who love his physique.

People enjoy hanging on to their whole "I was there from the beggining" beliefs and somehow a side-effect of that belief lies in Ken Shamrock being a talented fighter.

I completely expect Ken to get booed out of the building at the PPV, however.

Don't forget that article on him being "the World's Most Dangerous Man".

Oddly enough, the UFC Unleashed repeat yesterday night showed Royce Gracie choking Ken out in under a minute.

Well, the nickname and him being sold in the media as such was part of "slick advertising" I mentioned.

Besides, he was an easier sell than a frail-looking Brazilian who fought in his pajamas or an over-the-hill, never-was wrestler with bad knees and a gay moustache.

So predictions? I remember the original post about Tito's injured leg and it seemed that it wasn't that bad of a break and it will be completely healed by the time the fight rolls around....right? But how much training time will he get?

Can Ken pose a threat to Tito at all if Ken's been training like a madman and Tito had to take it easy because of the leg?

That moustache was rather gay porn, wasn't it?

Personally, I think Tito should juice up and beat the snot out of Shamrock, pissing Shamrock off even further so that we can get one more Shammy ass-whupping down the line.

Typical athletic Euro striker with a nothing special ground game. He should outstrike Aldana badly, unless Gilbert decides to bullrush him to the ground and unleash some hellish G&P before he gasses hard.

I was a fan of the drunk bar room brawler with the Jim Neidhart goatee.

Tank was cool until he tripped over his own feet and got choked by Tom Selleck's doppleganger.

I got a friend who specifically trained for MMA when he was about 18(he only did it for about a year and then gave up on it b/c of time reasons and the fact that he wasn't getting any better) and he's a huge UFC fan. So he should understand the sport somewhat.

However he walks around talking about how Tank is the coolest fighter ever and his absolute favorite.

I always try to explain to him that Tank suck and most guys with even a bit of training in the UFC can kick the shit out of him but he still just goes on about how great Tank is and "how fucking cool he is to watch dood~!"

I don't understand where he gets the so cool to watch thing at either. Ever Tank fight I've seen(and i haven't really seen his earlier ones) is Tank getting taken down and submitted(Sims and Kimo come to mind) or beaten up (Cabbage comes to mind).

It would be an upset if it was the other way around.

I called Yves pwning him when it was announced, as did many others. Yves is the solid favourite here, and should be. I'm surprised that the UFC is throwing Joe to the lions so quickly, I guess they've lost faith since his last loss.

Then that's weird for them to ditch Yves so readily too.

With losses to Hominik and Stevenson, I could see them giving up on Edwards.

Outside of the loss to Hominick, his big wins over Thomson & Franca don't mean as much as they once did. He's also a pretty lackadaisical bastard much of the time, so he's pretty expendable.

After watching the UFC shows on Spike tonight, I'm seriously thinking about plunking down the cash to order this show just to see Ortiz pound Shamrock into the dirt. Ortiz calling Shamrock "A professional wrestler trying to be an Ultimate Fighter" is a pretty decent burn, is it not?
