Vampiro69 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 I have always liked Carney but my god that was horrible.
Ced Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 That span of two minutes still boggles my mind. That had to be the shittiest day in John Carney's career.
Guest Princess Leena Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 Poor Carney. No ending will ever beat that one though, it's quite underrated.
Vern Gagne Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 It loses something because Carney missed the PAT.
Vampiro69 Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 That is what makes the highlight so much more unbelievable. In a two minute span you saw two teams be at the highest of highs and also experience the lowest of lows.

Bored Posted August 1, 2006 Author Report Posted August 1, 2006 Kind of an odd find, someone posted the entire game to the '85 Bears season opener against the Bucs, a surprisingly competitive game. Part 8 and 9 have the CBS halftime show as well so you'll see some old highlights in there. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Part 11 Part 12 Part 13 Part 14 Part 15
Guest Princess Leena Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 '85 US Open Men's Final preview in Part 8, also. Awesome. Pete Rose 2 hits behind Ty Cobb! I find this too fun.
Art Sandusky Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Brian Dawkins knows how to hit a suplex. That was the best football clip ever. That receiver got pwnt, but at least he knew how to take a bump.

Yeah I remember this one, I was working at a Ford, doing detailing at the time, on weekends. So I am listening to updates, and the Redskins were up 35-14 in the 4th quarter, so I felt pretty confident and stopped listening to updates, went back to working. Forty-five minutes later I go back to the radio to listen to the Early game wrap-ups, and they do one of those "Buzz" style updates, and then I hear the audio of the pass. I almost cried like no man should. That was the first game at Fed Ex Field. Last Year was sort of a nice payback with the Redskins winning 14-13 on the the Triplets Celebration night.
