Bored Posted June 17, 2006 Author Report Posted June 17, 2006 Ok if anyone can give me a GOOD reason the Angels sent down Jered Weaver who is 4-0 with a 1.37 ERA today to activate Bartolo Colon i'll give them a cookie. Seriously there had to be some other way to get Colon back into the rotation and on the roster right?.,...right?! They would have had to waive or trade his brother but it would have certainly been worth it even with the awkwardness of Jered costing his brother his job. Jeff is only on a one-year contract so eating his salary or picking up most of it in a trade wouldn't have been a big deal. But hey if the Angels want to keep on losing fine by me.

He's less injury prone than Frank Thomas, too. He's had 13 hits this season. 4 doubles, 4 HR. He's gotten some pretty clutch hits, too.

Cubs are just about polar opposites of the Marlins, other than the record thing. They may wind up with a WORSE record than the Fish.
