Am I the only one here that's all for an extended Booker/Lashley feud leading all the way to feuding over the world title?

How long was this match anyway?

Around 22 minutes I believe.

Another monster pop for Kennedy. I can't understand why WWE hasn't given this guy a title reign.

Because he's been injured.

I'm sure he has one to come. Probaly US title before World Title though.

Wow, I can't believe I find myself liking Mark Henry. (More so tolerating, believing him as a main eventer, then 'liking', but nonetheless)

I haven't been on the bandwagon of 'SD is consistently better then RAw', what I can I say, I'm a big fan of the sports entertainment dealio, but this has been a good SD for wrestling. And a good SD overall. Just 2 matches lasting almost half the show? Wow.

If it wasn't for Edge, I would be on that bandwagon. (although if they keep up with this DX crap, I'm sure I will be)

JBL "..thats why we're the A show"

Is there anyone that actually believes that? I mean, yeah..tonight has been miles better than RAW was, but still. Smackdown isn't even the B Show anymore with ECW now.

In terms of in-ring product, Smackdown is definately the A show IMO.

Nice tribute and all to Eddy, but that was the worst ending that they could have for that match.

Oh, and I'm not disputing that actual in ring stuff is miles better than on RAW, but I think the term A show is more about viewer perspective than anything.

WWE acts like Smackdown is the C show, but it is in fact the A show. It has veteran guys you can respect, good wrestling and a lot of it.

Even things like the Leprechaun, which should be completely retarded, are actually done well. I mean I LIKE the Leprechaun! It's just so strange but it works.

On Raw everything is so labored and overbaked. Smackdown is easily the best wrestling show on TV, by far.

I think everyone knows, Raw is "The A Show"..

But of course, you will never here JBL, or any commentator/wrestler on SD go, 'This is the B (or C) Show!'...unless it's their gimmick, like Booker when he first came

SD again shows why it's the real A-show and the best wrestling show on television today.

L/K vs. Mexicools was a solid opener and the Mexicool breakup (while not beneficial to the tag scene in any way) was well done. I'm glad they didn't go the emotional route and have Crazy try to talk to Psicosis before getting attacked from behind and beat down. Crazy just beating the shit out of him as soon as he got up was great. I suppose he'll be off to ECW, hopefully with Psicosis, because Psicosis will rot on SD without Crazy carrying him.

The Booker/Lashley feud is pretty good. Those two guys have some unexpectedly solid in-ring chemistry too. This week's match was better than the last two, as it helped put over both guys. Lashley's comebacks were better-timed and more effective as well. I like the finish too, as it helps make Lashley look like more of a badass. I also like how they protected Finlay at the end. Seriously, just pick up the Lashley/Finlay feud again already.

Rey/Henry wasn't great, but it was a decent enough match. The finish sucked on lots of levels, but then again pretty much any Henry match that starts off looking alright ends that way (first tv match with Taker, Benoit). Eddie's dead, stop milking it. And would it really hurt to put the freakin' WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION over somebody clean? The losing champ gig never gets anyone over.

As for the bad stuff, this is where you see why SD is infinitely superior to Raw. SD has it's fair share of crap. Khali, Vito, and the leprechaun all managed to get on the show, BUT their segments were kept short and to the point. Hell, even in Vito's case, they managed to advance his character a little bit. At this point, I'm not sure which brand has more potential to be good, but SD definitely makes the most out of what they've got. Raw builds their shows around crap, while minimizing their strengths. SD minimizes the crap, while building around their strengths.
