JST Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 I just got my hands on a Road To Wrestlemania Series 1 Shawn Michaels, but the thing is, he's dressed up as Hulk Hogan, complete with bleached hair and mustache, from his feud with Hogan leading up to Summerslam '05. At the store, all the other Shawns were in his black & white ring gear that he wore at the show. I'm wondering, did I just find a rare figure or what?
Just call me Dan Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 It was only placed in 1 case per shipment, so it is pretty rare. It hasn't been around all that long, so the value is still pretty dormant. You should check Ebay (as there can be some RIDICULOUS sales going on there). Sometimes people get A LOT of money for a semi-rare figure.
luke-o Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 Yeah that sounds like a chase figure. In years to come, it will be worth money.
dubq Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 When the moon turns to blood and the Great Ancient One rises from the Deep.
CanadianGuitarist Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 Incidentally, anyone see the Legends Series that includes a replica ticket from each Wrestlemania that you can collect all of, to redeem for a "Never Before Released" figure? Anyone know whom?
Guest kojo Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 I just saw this Shawn Michaels on eBay. There was a buy it now price for $8.95. Disappointing because I just found one of these too.
CanadianGuitarist Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 I've read it's Mr. America... seriously. I wonder if I can play a prejudice card by pointing out that there's no Mountie action figure.
claydude14 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 The fucked up part is that I'm one of the few that would even want a Mr. America figure (loved that angle) but there's no way in hell I'd buy all those complete classic series sets to get all the tickets.
Bruiser Chong Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 I haven't followed these figures or WWE in a while, but didn't Shawn dress up as Hulk during their feud last summer? I'm pretty sure this is what the figure is representing and isn't rare at all.

Supposedly Mountie will appear in CS 13. According to some dealer at the wrestling figs board here are the next two sets. And "Big Cat" Ernie Ladd is getting an action figure? Well, I'll be damned.
