Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2006 Trish should lose to Victoria in her last match, that'd be nice. I, for one, am going to be miss Lita.
JimmyHendricks 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2006 Trish was pretty well known before she came to the WWF/E. She'll be fine, and seems to have the intelligence to do something outside of the wrestling business. Lita will end up like every other pro wrestler (with the exception of the Rock) who thinks that just because they were able to garner a reaction from a crowd in a wrestling ring, that they are a major acting talent. Hogan failed at it, so did Piper. Lita will probably get a few bit parts in some indie punkish horror film or something, and after playing "Girl in crowd #3" in some James Cameron film, will re-sign with the WWE in late 2007 or so, and no one will care. Just like with Sable. The world of professional wrestling is a completely different medium from Hollywood. I laughed out loud when Chyna, who rarely did anything other than cross her arms and look like a dude, thought she could be Wonder Woman. I DO hope Lita does hit rock bottom and do a few porn flicks to pay off her drug dealers before coming back, though. That should be interesting.
benn 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2006 As an old Hardy Boyz mark and an Edge mark now, I think there will always be a place in my heart for Lita despite her tendency to be a sloppy worker. Edge has the charisma to lose her if need be but they have some of the best chemistry between a wrestler and a valet I've seen. Trish has basically done all that there is for a woman to do in WWE, and it's probably smart of her to get out while she's on top, especially if she's getting married and looking to have kids at some stage. That being said, I'll miss them both a lot. Particularly when useless diva search sluts are brought in to "replace" them.

I never was the biggest fan of the Hardy's, but I am an Edge mark and have enjoyed Lita since she has been with him. Trish has been rumored to be leaving for sometime, so it isn't a shock for me to hear she is going. I am a fan of hers and agree that her leaving on top is probably best for her. Best of luck to the both. I'll miss them.
Guest Overworked Report post Posted August 5, 2006 the last shreds of female wrestling crediblity will leave with them. They will have one one or two actual female wrestlers left and the rest...are ..... divas. Divas I always hated that term for the underwear models they got running around as eye candy. So what do we do for this segment? London/Kendrick vs Chavo/Rey Rey??? NooOOooO thats wrestling, no lets get those girls out we met at the stripper joint and throw them on tv during the Diva search, doing stupid things in order for them to arch their backs or bend over wow thats entertainment. Lita's personal life was always irrelevant to me, even as much as the WWE tried their best to shove her affairs with Edge in our face to disgust us enough to hate her and edge for an angle. And despite her work being sloppy she was still an actual worker. far better than chicks having pillow fight matches when actual wrestlers could be at work instead of sitting at home watching no talents take their timespot. Trish improved massively and deserves all the respects in the world. Going from being an literal T&A eyecandy manager, to main storyline vixen (though her having to make out with Vince McMahon every monday for a few months...shudder) She stepped up learning how to wrestle. From 2000 on up she made total improvement and earned her spot as a true woman's wrestler. I remember her and Victoria's or Jazz's matches being far more techinically proficent and busting out moves only seen in japan that eclipsed whatever the guys were doing with their plotting punch kick forumli. They will be missed, and I am not looking forward to who will fill their voids in the WWE. probably something with platform high heels short skirt and barely a bra. CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2006 I will definately miss Trish. She was a guilty pleasure of mine back in the day, and now she's slowly become a highlight of Raw for me, which lately isn't too tough admittingly. I've never cared for Lita, and as fun it is to make fun of her hersey personal life, it's really not because of that. I just can't stand watching her wrestle. To me, she's just as bad as Torrie and Stacy. Though to be fair, lately, she's been in the best role possible for her. And her role with the Hardy Boys was good too. They're both lucky they were wrestling during the boom, especially Lita, since I believe Trish is still making crazy money from WWE compared to the other girls. Here's the question I have for people now: will everyone from that early 00's period be slowly removed now? I mean, really, who's left after these two leave? Torrie and Victoria? Why keep them around when you can get cheap replacements who are younger?
KingPK 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2006 Victoria's barely on TV as it is. Torrie's willing to show her goods, so she's probably got a job for as long as her looks hold out. Trish is definitely in the better position to leave. She can continue modeling, put out an exercise video, try some acting (she looks a lot like a younger Pamela Anderson, but I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing). If she is leaving, Lita's probably going to be trolling the independent ranks in a year like Tammy Sytch in the early 2000s (and now, I guess), taking any bookings she can get. Hasbeen1 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2006 I think Trish can probably do a lot in acting roles, etc. True. I think just about every female in the wrestling business gets their job by getting off as many of the right cocks as possible. You think wrong.
Guest NitroJMS Report post Posted August 6, 2006 Either her or Victoria. If you count her as one of the ho's. And there's Stephanie, who I still believe will win WWE Big Gold someday. Sadly, Steph is probably the most talented female wrestler after Trish, Victoria and Lita of the current roster. Her matches with Lita and Trish were actually kinda decent from what I remember, even though she hasn't really been a competitor since like 2002. If Trish does leave, they might as well retire the Women's title since it will be an essentially meaningless prop (not that all titles aren't really that anyway). Since the major diva release of 2004, the division has basically been Trish, Victoria, and Mickie James in the same feuds over and over. It'll be a shame to see Trish go since she was one of the best parts of Raw over the past few years with her Jericho storyline, "Total Bitch" Trish in 04/05, and just as an all-around wrestler. benn 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2006 Torrie's willing to show her goods, so she's probably got a job for as long as her looks hold out. From the way they've been using her in the past few months, it's seemed as though they've been trying to train Torrie up to be the blonde diva veteran to replace Trish. Guest J0bber Report post Posted August 6, 2006 This doesn't really matter in the long run as WWE is hiring so many divas from the Diva Search. Sure, Trish has some wrestling talent, but she has done about everything she could as an act. She had several successful face runs, several successful heel runs, and multiple Women's Title reigns. She's at the point where she can't do much with her character besides flirt with Carlito. As for Lita, she lost all talent once she broke her neck. She lost most of her muscle and is now a bit out of shape to be competing in the ring. That match she had with Torrie a couple weeks back was horrid. It looked like Lita was trying to catch her breath after every spot. Also, she has a face that is almost as manly as Chyna's. Good riddance. I really think WWE should sign TNA's Traci Brooks if both of these girls leave. Traci is the hottest diva in TNA right now, and she isn't being used. She's got the WWE body and looks so I don't see why WWE doesn't sign her.
Guest Ronixis Report post Posted August 6, 2006 Im gonna miss Trish out of the both of them leaving the brand, she held the title longer than anybody else, has done everything in the WWE, so where else can she go? Lita had one good match left basicly, but she has become a great manager to Edge... Yeah, the diva search thing is a bit of a bain... Outside of Melina, Juilan Mickie and Victoria, the rest are playing out Rumble Roses storyines over at smackdown, Raw being a bit more compentent in this area. They should at this time retire the title until the talent is compent (i didnt say good) Good luck to the both of them.

TheInsane 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2006 As for Lita, she lost all talent once she broke her neck. She lost most of her muscle and is now a bit out of shape to be competing in the ring. To be honest I never understood why people thought she used to be a good wrestler during any time of her wrestling carreer. She has never been a good wrestler, just bad and worse. People seem to get fooled because she did a hurricanrana and a moonsault but she never got that basic stuff right, she was always a danger for herself and her opponents. She does however have a good aura which makes her "superstar like". I actually feel she's quite attractive because of that even though she looks manly at times and is a horrible in-ring performer. I usually despise WWE diva type girls. They do nothing for me. So as a silent girlfriend of Edge Im sad to see Lita. However if there was plans for her to return to the ring or that she was going to have a role where she speaks Im glad to see her go. Trish has been one of the most talented women i WWE the past few years (some are above her like Molly Holly) but as people have said, she has done everything she could in WWE. Everything else and she would just rehash what has already happened.

Enigma 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2006 So, with these two on the way out, who does that leave as the longest tenured woman on the roster? Lilian Garcia? Lilian Garcia has been in WWE longer than Trish Stratus or Lita. Garcia debuted in August 1999. Lita started in January 2000 and Stratus started in March 2000. FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2006 Victoria should be top heel, with Mickie James as top face, and Candice Michelle, Beth Pheonix when she returns, move Jazz over from ECW, and you've got a decent little Women's Division.

benn 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2006 The caller asks about Lita leaving WWE. The caller says with Trish leaving it should give her more of an opportunity. Dave says she just wants to go take a rest. It’s really a matter of wanting a break from the travel and she's leaving on good terms. Dave says in hindsight it's probably better to leave on bad terms with WWE than on good terms, because Vince sees it as a challenge to prove he can get you back. http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/f...t.asp?aID=17038
