This was one absolutley terrible edition of RAW. It felt like a job to sit here and watch it all. Not one of the worst of all-time but just not entertaining in the slightest.

Is there a reason Big Show is even in the ECW brand? He shows up on Raw and WWE Raw-brand PPVs, as much, if not more then he appears in ECW itself, add to that he isn't even over in ECW, and everytime he shows up on WWE he is nearly buried by WWE top guys.....just get the damn belt off of him and ship him back to Raw.

As I just said, Show has an old-school contract with guaranteed PPV money. Thus, he gets thrown into storylines for other brands.

It depends. If Edge is retaining then they might go with a DX win in HIAC to close, but if Cena is regaining they might go with the TLC to main. Or I dunno....it's in Toronto and Edge is playing up the hometown angle, so maybe if Cena wins it'll be a heelish win and thus HIAC will close.

 

That's it, I am going insane thinking about this.

 

I mentioned something before SS about Raw but it bears repeating. What exactly is Raw's roster at this point? People harp on SD having such a crappy, thin roster but tonight Raw resorted to 2 women's matches, bringing in SD guys for the main event, bringing in the ECW champion, and a decrepit Hacksaw Duggan just to fill out a 2 hour show.

Raw doesn't know what the hell to do with most of the guys on their roster. Smackdown's talent pool may be thin but they utilize practically everybody. The only people not competing that much are guys off due to the wellness policy, injured, or were sent back to the farm leagues (Boogeyman, Mercury, Mexicools, Albright, Burchill, Henry, Gymini Twins). Helms (and occasionally Londrick) are the only guys who aren't on TV as much as the others.

That was the worst promo I've heard in a long-ass time. And I watched Smackdown during the Khali days. He just went on and on and on and the crowd went from dead, to zombified (which only occurs on the rare instances that they've been dead so long, they start making noise just out of sheer boredom). The entire thing with Melina and Foley was a waste of time, as evidenced by the fact that not a single person cares more now than they did before it happened.

 

JR's still horrified that Nitro wears the championship belt schlong protector the way he does.
