alfdogg Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2565022 I really don't know what to say about this move...as much as the Warrior's top guys are hurt, I don't see what difference a coaching change is going to make. I suppose if everyone stays healthy, they *might* have an outside shot at the 8th seed. Discuss.
Guest Felonies! Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Now just bring back Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, and the cool basketball/California logo and the Warriors are finally back in business!
razazteca Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Great now Don Nelson is going to draft another skinny 7 footer from europe.
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 This move can't be good for his health.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Now just bring back Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, and the cool basketball/California logo and the Warriors are finally back in business! No Mitch Richmond? For shame. Now how will they get to the second round of the playoffs?
alfdogg Posted August 30, 2006 Author Report Posted August 30, 2006 Pssh. Who needs Richmond when you can have Billy Owens?
UZI Suicide Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Montgomery really screwed up when he left Stanford for that shithole.
Vampiro69 Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Include a first year Chris Weber and the team is golden.
Bored Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 You're all missing the final piece of the puzzle....
lomasmoney Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 How in the flying fuck did a team featuring Chris Webber, Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, Chris Gatling, Latrell Sprewell, and whoever was on that team not win an NBA title. That might be one of those things that sounds normal when you think about it but then you realize these guys had what like 5 future All-Stars on the team and didnt do shit
Precious Roy Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 How in the flying fuck did a team featuring Chris Webber, Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, Chris Gatling, Latrell Sprewell, and whoever was on that team not win an NBA title. That might be one of those things that sounds normal when you think about it but then you realize these guys had what like 5 future All-Stars on the team and didnt do shit They ran into a Suns team that had Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson, Dan Majerle, Danny Ainge, Tom Chambers, Cedric Ceballos, Richard Dumas (remember him?), Oliver Miller (when he was actually good), and KURT RAMBIS!!!! And it's not like the Warriors could have beat the Sonics, Jazz, Knicks (weep) or Bulls that year anyway.
Guest NYankees Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Lets not forget the horrible start that the 94-95 Warriors got off too.
nogoodnick Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Well now Montgomery can have his pick of any major college jobs that open in the next year. Oregon should fire Ernie Kent and go after Monty.
lomasmoney Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Richard Dumas... holy shit, that guy was just an athletic freak, just could never keep his nose clean, literally
