They're calling the postgame show The O.T.

Don't call it that.

And it's a shutout. In true Bears fashion, only one offensive touchdown, but who cares. Good win for Chicago, and that defense looks scary.

RE: the Pats not having a #1 WR. They didn't last year, or their Super Bowl years. They always have a unit of #2/3/4 guys that combine to equal a legit passing attack; not one special WR, but "the whole will be greater than the sum of it's parts" mentality.

I'm a football novice, and dislike the Patriots because of Brady and you guys here, but I would have to believe that a balanced wide receiver corps makes a hell of a lot more sense than just one go-to guy and some other guys. Shouldn't that keep the defense on their toes a little more?

Why would you hate the Pats because of Brady?!

There's Favre's first interception of the game and it is time for a 14-year-old to get plowed up the ass.

:spank:

What? No "the season is falling" act from you?

Not that it matters anyway, since FOX has already gone downhill by adding Joe Suck to their lineup

Maybe if I post enough times I can make up for missing most of today

It was good to see the Cowboys lose just because there's this guy that I work with who's a total dick Cowboy fan.

All he does is tell me about how the Cowboys are going to the playoffs and the Eagles will have a worse season than last season. I remember him telling me that they'd struggle to be above .500 and they'd get blown out by the Cowboys.

Too bad he quit a month ago because it'd be nice to hear his week one reaction.

I just hope Eli doesn't play like shit tonight. I don't expect the Giants to beat Peyton this early in the season, but if Eli picks up where he left off last year that will suck.

America is going to absolutely loathe hearing Joe Buck's voice by January, I guarantee it. Hosting the pre/postgame show, doing games, doing the baseball playoffs, it's too much.

I'll add another :D and a  for Drew's clutch INTs.

EDIT: Sterling Sharpe just said that reverse in the Seahawks game may have "saved their season".

*Ahem*

I already hate Joe Buck. If he sticks to just calling the game, he's fine. But, once his opinions come out he's like the quintessential smarmy asshole.
