The Niggardly King Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I'm gonna need about 20 different various back-up tests before I believe that first go-round.
haws bah gawd Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 $2.09 is the cheapest I've seen it around Aiken, SC. Here's hoping it dips a little more. I'd just like to see it below $2.00 one last time. It's very nice to be able to fill-up for $20-24 rather than $50 around the time of Hurricane Ike. It's especially much nicer since I am unemployed.
tekcop Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 $1.97 is the cheapest in town. It was $1.88 the other day.
alfdogg Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 $2.01 here, but it was $1.97 in Muncie last night.
Slayer Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 After about a month of price gradually dropping, I finally saw the first increase as my nearby station went from $1.94 to $1.97 this morning
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 After about a month of price gradually dropping, I finally saw the first increase as my nearby station went from $1.94 to $1.97 this morning  wow..you..don't..say  Im..shocked..
Guest Smues Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 $3.14 in Anchorage. $5.39 in Nome.
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 $2.01 here, but it was $1.97 in Muncie last night. Â Â How often do you go to the casino at Hoosier Park?
alfdogg Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I haven't been there yet. Â We went down to $1.95 today.
Perfxion Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I seen a giant mixture of $1.89 to $1.99 around North Houston.
Cherry Blossom Viscount Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I've seen an off-brand station with gas that is $1.86 in Houston and the Valero station acorss the street is selling for $1.87. These are the lowest prices I've seen since at least 2002 or 2003. We've had a couple of years where gas went below $2 but most stations bottomed out at $1.89. Last time gas was this cheap was 2006 I believe. When gas gets to $1.50, I know we've turned a corner. I'm expecting a slow increase in the next couple of weeks.
JJMc Posted November 9, 2008 Author Report Posted November 9, 2008 Mostly $2.29-$2.43 near the MA/NH line. Several places on Cape Cod near $3.
Youth N Asia Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 Finally got it at $1.99 in Burton MI
haws bah gawd Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 $1.98 in North Augusta, SC. I know it won't be this way forever (Holidays are coming), but damn it's nice!
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Filled up at 1.96. Was so happy I put the pump up my ass and gave myself an 89 octane colonic.
Cherry Blossom Viscount Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 $1.69. Long Dr. and 610 in Houston, Texas.
EricMM Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 So last time I filled up it was something like $2.89 or the likes. It was a LONG time ago. Â I think this time I'll spend the money and get Plus or even Super. I mean, people say its better for your engine? My engine certainly needs some TLC. And I won't notice the difference, I never buy gas...
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 For the area around my house, $1.75 is the cheapest I've seen. For everyday driving, I've seen it at $1.71.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 As fast as gas prices are dropping..gas might be free just in time for Valentines Day! Â yay
haws bah gawd Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 $1.83 this afternoon. Filled up for less than $20.
Guest Czecherbear Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 $1.85 in Bristol, $1.70 in Winthrop Harbor. Too bad this is indicative of the Second Great Depression or whatever. I picked a bad time to be alive.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 I saw $2.07 last night in Southeast Portland.
Perfxion Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 1.60 is about the cheapest on the Northside of Houston. My normal spot is 1.65 a gallon.
