RepoMan Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Cryme Tyme was way better than I thought it would be. The voice over totally made it work.
UZI Suicide Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 This is the gimmick that Vince got the idea from Chapelle's Show. If Vince had never seen Pirates of the Carribean do you really think he watches Chappelle's Show?
milliondollarchamp Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 they got away with virgil so maybe the think they can get away with cryme time
razazteca Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Oh, boy... The creator of the Boondocks needs to sue WWE.
LooseCannon25 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 A coincidence that comes on right after Cryme Time? Are these guys like a Gangstas from ECW rip off
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Production goof! Maria staring at paint dry - Teddy Long in the box seats - Maria in the ring!
The Amazing Rando Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Cryme Time is the Black Highlanders.... just never let them wrestle and we'll be set.
Hawk 34 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Figures people will get all upset about a blatant Gangstas parody. Chapelle's Show does it, it's funny. WWE does it, it's offensive and degrading.
Boon Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 ......They're actually defending all of the straps on a PPV?!
The Amazing Rando Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 ......They're actually defending all of the straps on a PPV?! First time since 1937.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Oh great. Vince vs HHH at MSG on RAW next week..
Quasar Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 An all-McMahon main event at MSG! Vince Sr. has started rolling in his grave. Roderick McMahon is doing cartwheels.
skullman80 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Figures people will get all upset about a blatant Gangstas parody. Chapelle's Show does it, it's funny. WWE does it, it's offensive and degrading. I never said it was degrading, just stupid. The two contexts of the shows are different.
Hawk 34 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 This is the gimmick that Vince got the idea from Chapelle's Show. If Vince had never seen Pirates of the Carribean do you really think he watches Chappelle's Show? A few months ago, Vince was adamant about doing a Chapelle's show gimmick after he saw a tape of it. He pushed it onto Shelton Benjamin but found out that Shelton couldn't do the gimmick.
Slickster Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 If I was Vince, yeah I'd have booked myself into the ME at MSG at least once too.
Vampiro69 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 What a lack of response for the announcement of HHH vs Vince on 9/11.
RonL21 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 I hope at least before RAW they have a nice 9/11 Tribute since its in NYC you know without kayfabe...I though Vince's speech during the Smackdown after 9/11 was one of the best ive heard...
Quasar Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Will we find out why Teddy Long is in the building?
LooseCannon25 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 It'd be awesome to see Cryme Tyme debut at the PPV by kicking the shit out of Cena while calling him a poser
The Amazing Rando Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Will we find out why Teddy Long is in the building? He's stealing smoothies for his boys.
Quasar Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Does anybody know who is playing Cryme Tyme?
Slickster Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Will we find out why Teddy Long is in the building? To scout John Cena.
Hawk 34 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Will we find out why Teddy Long is in the building? Atlanta is his hometown. He has an open contract with John Cena...you put the pieces together.
Quasar Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 The Rock has to be the smartest shill ever. He doesn't give a shit about wrestling but he knows that his main audience is wrestling fans so he pretends to care occassionally.
ChrisMWaters Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 An all-McMahon main event at MSG! Vince Sr. has started rolling in his grave. Roderick McMahon is doing cartwheels. What about Ed McMahon? Interesting note about this match: among the males, it's former rivals teaming up. Edge and Orton feuded for the IC title 2 years ago. As well as Cena and Carlito for the US title. And of course, none of that is mentioned.
Slickster Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Does anybody know who is playing Cryme Tyme? Shad Gaspard and Neighborhoodie from OVW.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 I hope at least before RAW they have a nice 9/11 Tribute since its in NYC you know without kayfabe...I though Vince's speech during the Smackdown after 9/11 was one of the best ive heard... I was there and still remember it. It was intense. Crowd was popping for everything, the National Anthem got what seemed like a 5 minute standing O. Night to remember.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Its good to know Edge can spear Trish legally in this match.
