EricMM Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Wish I had the use. But my TV is old and I inherited it from my Great Aunt when she passed soooo...
Guest Queen Leelee Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Even if it is an old one, if it has component inputs (the blue, green and red ones), it's still a big improvement on standard TV's.
AndrewTS Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Some new Japanese Virtual Console games announced: http://wii.ign.com/articles/767/767127p1.html Finally Square Enix is jumping into the mix. Fortunately, it isn't crap like King's Knight--Actraiser is a nice beginning.
BorneAgain Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 From that link: PC ENGINE (AKA TurboGrafx-16) Fire Pro Wrestling Combination Tag (Spike) Coooooooooooool. Let's hope for a stateside release.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 I think the possibility of Ready 2 Rumble on the Nintendo is awesome (They just announced new Ready 2 Rumble game will be coming out sometime for all the next gen platforms). The arcade style/play combined with the controls should be awesome, much more so than a realistic game like Fight Night.
BUTT Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 The new R2R game is being co-developed with AKI. Sounds good to me.
BUTT Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 I think my remote is screwed up. I was in the middle of playing COD3 and the batteries died. I found a second set of rechargables I keep on hand and put them in and they didnt work. I dug around and found a brand new pair of regular non rechargable duracells and they didnt work. I press a button and all 4 leds light up but nothing happens. I tried resynching the remote but it doesnt sync up, the leds all keep flashing and then quit after a while. ARGH. A seemingly simple enough fix..unplug for 30 seconds and it works again..but gee whiz.. The same thing has happened to me and I have been unable to fix it using the methods that worked for you. What gives?
Guest Queen Leelee Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Unplug. Wait for a minute, or so. If need be, do it a few times. It will work eventually. Bluetooth is glitchy.
Eclipse Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Wow, just realized on the Internet Channel, AIM can be used...you just gotta head to www.aimonpsp.com...and until they create a Wii version, the PSP version works JUST fine on the Wii....awesome.
Invictus Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Today's VC games: Elevator Action (NES) Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts (SNES) Sword of Vermillion (Genesis)
Guest Queen Leelee Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 VC finally gets an RPG. I just remember that Ghouls n' Ghosts was ridiculously hard back in the day.
EricMM Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 People besides Thoth need to add me. And give me Miis! My Mii parade is lonely...
Spaceman Spiff Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I added you...Friday? I'll check when I get home from work to see if you've showed up yet (you were still grayed out as of last night in my address book).
Guest Queen Leelee Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Also, for you VC people... Sword of Vermillion is already available on the Genesis collection on PS2. Super Ghouls n' Ghosts is on the Capcom Generation Vol. 2 collection also on PS2 and XBox.
Black Lushus Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I didn't care for Super Ghouls N Ghosts...I get what Nintendo and Capcom was going for there, but really, the Arcade/Genesis version was just fine.
Spaceman Spiff Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Eric - you are still gray in my address book. I checked your code, and I have it correct, so maybe check mine?
EricMM Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 I put it in again, is it properly put in at the start of the thread?
Thoth Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Also, for you VC people... Sword of Vermillion is already available on the Genesis collection on PS2. Super Ghouls n' Ghosts is on the Capcom Generation Vol. 2 collection also on PS2 and XBox. Super Ghouls n' Ghosts was in Volume 1, not 2.
AndrewTS Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Also, for you VC people... Sword of Vermillion is already available on the Genesis collection on PS2. Super Ghouls n' Ghosts is on the Capcom Generation Vol. 2 collection also on PS2 and XBox. Super Ghouls n' Ghosts was in Volume 1, not 2. And Sword of Vermillion is pretty much poop. Every Genesis VC game worth a damn is included in the Sega Genesis Collection except for Streets of Rage and Gunstar Heroes. Not that I'm complaining, since the SGC is a way better value. Oh, and Vectorman kicks major ass, just wanted to say.
AndrewTS Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 http://www.nintendojo.com/infocus/view_item.php?1173116238 In summary, new info on the Smash Bros. Brawl roster. IN: Wind Waker Link Bowser Jr. Ridley OUT: Mr. Game and Watch Ice Climbers Young Link
Guest Smues Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Thank god for no ice climbers. And Wind Waker Link? Awesome.
devo Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 That's fantastic. I'm a little upset at losing Game and Watch, but Ice Climbers and Young Link weren't a whole lot of fun to play as, so no big deal there. Bowser Jr. and Ridley are going to be ridiculously enjoyable characters.
EricMM Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 I'll add you tonight. Spiff blackened now tho.
Guest Queen Leelee Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 I don't think it shows up until both parties restart online, or something.
Spaceman Spiff Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 I'll add you tonight. Spiff blackened now tho. I've got this urge to eat fried chicken all of a sudden...
foleyfanforever88 Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Two friends and I rented Trauma Center last night. We loved it. We beat the game after about 8 hours of playtime on easy mode, within a 10 hour period (we took breaks for Sports and Wario Ware). We didn't bother to read any of the story though, so I think I'm going to buy it and play it again paying attention to the story, and then try it on a harder difficulty.
