In addition to babes, let's talk Smog. In addition to the above reference, a friend of mine was telling me today that, of all the concerts she's been to, Smog was the one where she wasn't at all able to identify more with the band/performer after the show. Where should I begin?

 

I like Eleanor Friedberger, but she doesn't look good in any pictures I can find. Maybe I wasn't paying attention when I saw her live and thought she was megacute.

I don't listen to any great deal of Rilo Kiley, though.

I don't really find Jenny Lewis attractive. But that's the best I've ever seen her look. Possibly because her face is partially obscured in it. Ha.

 

On a side note, I really like the first four songs on the first Rilo Kiley album, especially "Pictures of Success". However, I can't stand Pinsky's weak voice, even though his presence in the band is what initially got me interested.

Well it was probably a needed change for her. Her last album before Loose was nowhere on the radar. Change the image a bit, change the feel of the songs, still look fucking hot, BAM. Success.
