Slickster Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Cryme Tyme = instantly the top men on the show! Cryme Tyme stole Booker's wallet!
foleyfanforever88 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 "Get their black asses back in here! Call the police!"
daileyxplanet Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 ROFFLE. And good reaction for them, too. And it's funny hearing Booker say "Ebonics".
LooseCannon25 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Great interaction with Cryme Tyme and Bookaaaaaaaaaaah I love when Booker starts wilding out all ghetto
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 King Booker's breakin' down! Booker losing the fake accent always cracks me up.
Hawk 34 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I love when King Booker drops the accent and goes street without realizing it.
RonL21 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I love when King Booker gets pissed and loses the accent and Turns into Booker T....The best thing goin....
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I cant wait for Cryme Tyme meets Shelton next week.. after that..uh..
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 17, 2006 Author Report Posted October 17, 2006 Wow, 36 minutes in and an A+ show, and there hasn't been one in like 5 years. Hopefully the IC title match delivers.
Mecca Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 It's great how within a few minutes Cryme Tyme become 2 of the more interesting characters on the show.
Quasar Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 5 black people in 1 segment....Has this ever happened before? We've had four and a half before. During the Nation: Faarooq Kama Mustafa D'Lo Brown Mark Henry The Rock (1/2)
foleyfanforever88 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Wow, 36 minutes in and an A+ show, and there hasn't been one in like 5 years. Hopefully the IC title match delivers. The main event wont.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 17, 2006 Author Report Posted October 17, 2006 What would Booker have been going to get in his wallet for Coachman?
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 If there was any justice in the world that segment would have gained 1,000,000 viewers.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 17, 2006 Author Report Posted October 17, 2006 Masters get the "WWF Superstars" jobber treatment again.
Hawk 34 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Shelton Benjamin keeps getting the Billy Gunn treatment from WWE. Constant pushes that go nowhere due to his inability to connect with a crowd beyond high spots/catchphases and gets the JR "Best Athlete in WWE" spiel. All he needs is about 6 more random tag team partners.
Mecca Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Does Masters just have a stache now? If so he can change his gimmick to a creepy child molester.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I'm thinking a Shelton/Crazy minifeud wouldn't be bad. Fly under the radar so the writing staff don't get too involved, and just go out and have a few crazy matches with a nice high flying blowoff match.
foleyfanforever88 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Nice powerbomb/suplex combo by Masters!
Mecca Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 That jumping from the mat to the top rope spot still impresses me.
Slickster Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 See, Cryme Tyme got over almost totally because of their characters. They proved they can work a formula tag match and do some generic moves, but the crowd ate it up with a spoon. Goes to show that sometimes WWE can get it right by emphasizing characters over workrate.
Gary Floyd Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Damn, can't wait for "Feast" to come to DVD tomorrow.
Fro Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 The gimmicks over so as long as they don't embarass themselves in the ring they'll be fine. Yeah, JTG is decent enough to be face in peril and Shad can do your typical hoss stuff. They've got more charisma than I thought, especially after seeing "Da Beast" in OVW for years. Doesn't hurt too that they actually have an idea of what's somewhat hip.

Well in a perfect world you have both but obviously guys who aren't great workers like Cryme Tyme should be more character featured. There are of course other guys who can get over more on other things.

It's an OVW product that WWE wanted to keep because it worked. Just like MnM.
Mecca Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I think Benjamin just made Bagwells finisher 1000 times cooler the way he did it.
