Guest Vitamin X Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I guess they didn't think much of Lorenzo Booker or Darius Walker, even if they had concerns regarding Bush's injury problems.
Guest Queen Leelee Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Damn, taking a back who started 11 games in college. Hmm. Jackson must have sick talent, or something.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 That, or Ted Thompson pulled a Sherm.
Mik Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Not sure what the scouts, etc. will say but I'm happy with Aaron Ross and Steve Smith for the G-Men. They need O-Line help, though.
Failed Bridge Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 "Ortonsault wins another contest, still can't impress Leena." He was bound and determined to get that Hummer though I doubt this was the one he was shooting for.
Failed Bridge Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 by the way, love how the Pats got the 49ers first rounder for next year. It should still be in the top 15 after looking at their schedule.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 by the way, love how the Pats got the 49ers first rounder for next year. It should still be in the top 15 after looking at their schedule. Nah. Patrick Willis and Joe Staley will pave the way to 10-6.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 The Dolphins took a running back for no apparent reason. I don't see why they would want Booker, Ronnie Brown, and Ricky Williams on the same team. If Ricky gets cut, I hope he ends up in Green Bay with Randy Moss. It'll be like the All-2002 Offense with Williams, Moss, Favre, and Donald Driver. They just need Shannon Sharpe to come out of retirement.
Failed Bridge Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 If Tanard Jackson falls to the Pats then day one is a big time success in my books.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Texans end up the day with a teenage DT and a small school project WR. Definitely an interesting day.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Aww, Packers take a WR in the 3rd round. I guess that means Randy Moss will rot over in Oakland. Boo.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I absolutely love Jacksonville's draft so far. Nelson, Durant, and Walker is a damn good first day with one more to go. Hope they address the DE situation either next pick or tomorrow, but this has been damn good so far.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I think the Raiders are having a great draft too.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I think the Raiders are having a great draft too. Really? Taking a TE when tackles and guards were available?
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 The way this draft has gone, yeah. It's not like they have gotten lucky with highly drafted linemen anyways (Gallery, anyone?)
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Tony Hunt is finally off the board. I was wondering when he'd go.
Broward83 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 A WR? Seriously... there wasn't a fuckin OG like Studdard from Texas or any other OL that excited them enough?
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I think the Raiders are having a great draft too. Really? Taking a TE when tackles and guards were available? There's your tackle now. Mario Henderson.
tominator89 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Very cool seeing Tony Hunt go to the Eagles.
the pinjockey Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I like the post-Kolb draft picks Abiamiri can replace the bust McDougle, Bradley gives them a legitimate SAM if Gocong can't adjust or if they want to do something else with him, and Hunt gives them what they have missed since Staley left. But Kolb is still killing me, the last time I was this upset with a pick though was Shawn Andrews and that has worked out pretty well.
2GOLD Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 New England seems to be stockpiling a lot of picks. I wonder if a day 2 trade for Randy Moss could be in the works.
KingPK Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I'm still VERY uneasy about Moss. If they can turn him into a happy camper like Dillon (though that only worked for a year or so before he reverted back to his old self), Belichick deserves whatever contract extension he wants.
Vern Gagne Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I hate Draft Grades. They make zero sense.

You're uneasy about Moss but not the guy who initiated the brawl between U of Miami and Florida International?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 The Eagles shitty drafting continues. A 4th QB! Yay!
Zetterberg is God Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I thought the Bills had no shot at Posluszny so that's a pleasent surprise indeed. I'm content with their drafting thus far as they filled two positions that needed help.

If they can turn him into a happy camper like Dillon (though that only worked for a year or so before he reverted back to his old self), Belichick deserves whatever contract extension he wants. The three Super Bowls (and one 3rd down conversion away from probably a fourth) gives him a lifetime coaching contract with the Patriots. Even if they go 0-16 next year his job is safe.
HarleyQuinn Posted April 29, 2007 Author Report Posted April 29, 2007 The Patriots have 8 picks tomorrow including 4 picks in the 6th round. Still lots of solid names available including RB Antonio Pittman, QB Troy Smith, etc. I'm curious to see who falls where and who trades up to pick which players. I guess the Bears are hoping Wolfe can turn into another MJD as a part of a committee with Benson on an 80/20 scenario? Really hope the Patriots can nab DeOssie too.
