Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Someone still watches this show, right? Heyman is showing off the weapons for the match...as if that put just brought someone off the fence. A triple main event consisting of RVD/Sabu, Lashley/TBS and Punk/Test.
Hawkius Maximus Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 ...why do they have RVD cut serious promos? ..WHY?! Furthermore..>WHYDOTHEYMAKESABUTALK1?!?
Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 Sabu gets his message across in 15 seconds and RVD spent 3 times that and didn't say anything.
Downhome Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 RVD vs. Sabu? This should be solid. There's no way that we can predict who will win this one!
Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 They appear less stoned here.
Ravenbomb Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 hmph. Fine, just use this thread. See if I care
Hawkius Maximus Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 what the hell was RVD going for with that counter? A flying crossbody? Forearm? It just looked like they whacked faces in mid air.
Downhome Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Ouch, that Sabu miss got an "oh shit" out of me.
Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 I like watching Sabu. You can't tell if A). He just botched B). It was meant to miss or C). He just said "Fuck it, I'm gonna fall backwards off the turnbuckle and see what happens with it" Give him credit here, he looks like he's trying here. Don't know if he's trying to get back in favor or just motivated working with Rob.
Hawkius Maximus Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Would it kill WWE to tighten the goddamn ropes? Sabu's gonna fucking kill himself springboarding.
Downhome Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 This match reminded me, once again, why I'd miss Sabu if he gets fired. The way RVD reversed the DDT at the end looked pretty rough also.
Ravenbomb Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 I just realized, and apologies if it's been said, but the main event of the first WWECW PPV is the elimination chamber. Something that, in kayfabe, Eric Bischoff brought into WWE
Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 4 matches in 45 minutes, here. 3 matches in 75 minutes, on Raw.
Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 At the very least, I'm shocked they didn't do a 6 man tag match with the man scoring the fall gets "weapon of choice".
Mecca Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Would it kill WWE to tighten the goddamn ropes? Sabu's gonna fucking kill himself springboarding. The WWE has always had looser ropes for some reason.....of course Mick Foley would tell you WCW's were to tight and that's why his ear got ripped off.
Broward83 Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 At the very least, I'm shocked they didn't do a 6 man tag match with the man scoring the fall gets "weapon of choice". ...but which of the faces would you pair up with TBS/Test ?
Hawkius Maximus Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 ...Why are they called The Hardys on Raw, and Team XTreme on ECW? Yeah, Road Warriors/LOD thing...but that's still stupid. Are the Hardies free to just randomly work any of the groups they want? ...and this is an interesting match.
Mecca Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Terkay is gonna do a job......switching shows ended that little push of his.
Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 Terkay is gonna do a job......switching shows ended that little push of his. Not unless Burke eats the pin or MnM does the run-in.

You notice they've gone out of their way to not call them the Hardy Boyz...I wonder if there's some reason they are doing that.

I think this whole thing is weird....from what I've seen Burke is about 1000 times more talented than Terkay yet Terkay does more of the wrestling...makes no sense.

When they came in, they were in their teens and became stars in early 20's. They are reaching 30, it's kind of awkward to call them "Boyz"

MillenniumMan831 Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 At least the graphic spelled it "Hardies" w/ no Z.
razazteca Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Terkay is gonna do a job......switching shows ended that little push of his. Not unless Burke eats the pin or MnM does the run-in. after the pin.
Mecca Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Terkay eats the pin.......you know if you had told me Matt Hardy and Terkay were wrestling 2 months ago I'd have assumed right away Hardy was doing the job, how things change.
BorneAgain Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 Didn't think Terkay would lose this soon. Especially didn't expect Matt Hardy to be one involved in the decision.
Human Fly Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 When you have a dearth of credible upper carders why would you not have MNM come in 45 seconds earlier so Burke and Terkay do not get jobbed out? Stupid.
Hawk 34 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 It's not as if Terkay was built as an undefeated guy like Punk and Umaga are. When those guys lose, it'll matter.
