RepoMan Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Arial Sharon to replace Saddam- Best Bet
CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 I was waiting for yours, Leena. Nice work.
Guest Princess Leena Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 I tried to wait until the last second. Because the Orton fanboy will do his at like 10:59 CST.
snuffbox Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 That Dakota Fanning pick is pretty fucking weird. And, Greg Page, I'll be sad to see the old fatty go. You could be right on that.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Al Davis: Ford Replacement Queen Elizabeth: Best Bet Margaret Thatcher Jim Neidhart Lindsay Lohan Bud Adams George McGovern Don Pardo Ariel Sharon James Earl Jones The Pope Gary Busey Ted Kennedy Jack McKeon Joan Rivers Ed McMahon Charlie Watts Ernie Harwell Kurt Angle The Czech Republic
MillenniumMan831 Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Doesn't look like anyone had Denver Bronco Darrent Williams.
Red Baron Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 You guys should clarify if you mention Ted Kennedy the politician or Ted Kennedy the hockey player.
CanadianGuitarist Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Don Pardo is a fucking fantastic pick, Czech.
Vern Gagne Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Anyone have Bobby Hamilton? Former NASCAR driver. In NASCAR related news. Benny Parsons looks like he's set to make meet St. Peter.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Anyone have Bobby Hamilton? Former NASCAR driver. In NASCAR related news. Benny Parsons looks like he's set to make meet St. Peter. Im kicking myself on Hamilton cause I knew he had cancer and I knew he wasnt in good shape the last I had heard of him. BP will pull through, at least for the short term.
Vern Gagne Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 He was in the intensive care unit this weekend.
Guest Princess Leena Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 John Silvertand, Afleet Alex trainer died. He was one of my last cuts. Blah. I'll assume nobody had him.
Der Kommissar Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Anyone have Yvonne De Carlo? I remember strongly considering her, at one point. Alas, I decided against putting her there. Whoops.
Toshiaki Koala Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Dammit, I SO almost picked Robert Anton Wilson.
Vern Gagne Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 Anyone have Yvonne De Carlo? I remember strongly considering her, at one point. Alas, I decided against putting her there. Whoops. I figured she was already dead. I saw a pic of her from back in the 40s. Herman Munster was tapping a nice piece of ass.
Red Baron Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 I also thought De Carlo died a few years back.
tominator89 Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Looks like Castro is just about to go. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070116/ap_on_...ain_cuba_castro
CanadianChris Posted January 16, 2007 Author Report Posted January 16, 2007 First points of the year! Timmy8271 was the ONLY player to pick Benny Parsons. Updated Standings - January 16, 2007 50 - Timmy8271
bob_barron Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Don Pardo is a fucking fantastic pick, Czech. I saw Don Pardo on Friday, I think he might already be dead
Toshiaki Koala Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Well, I got Art Buchwald. Yay for me.
CanadianChris Posted January 18, 2007 Author Report Posted January 18, 2007 Two at the top now, with Toshiaki Koala being the only one with the aforementioned Art Buchwald: Updated Standings - January 16, 2007 50 - Timmy8271, Toshiaki Koala
Toshiaki Koala Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 How fucked up is it that I'm more saddened by my omission of R.A. Wilson from my death pool than by his actual death? Eh, he would probably be amused by it. If he wasn't dead.
Spaceman Spiff Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 On the bright side, you did have Bam Bam Bigelow, who was found dead today.
Guest Princess Leena Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 He was under 50 too, so big points.
King Kamala Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 YES! I had Bam Bam! RIP Bam Bam since I was a fan. But YES YES!
Vern Gagne Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 You can send a letter to his family. I'm sorry for your loss, but he did put me in the lead in my Death Pool.
King Kamala Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Don Pardo is a fucking fantastic pick, Czech. I saw Don Pardo on Friday, I think he might already be dead Off topic question to Bob but do you have any idea of who will replace Pardo as The SNL announcer? I heard Darrell Hammond does a good impression of him. Maybe he should do it, that way Darrell could stay on the show for the rest of his career (Not that he's not already planning on doing that) I have to assume nobody had Denny Dohrety on their list. Now almost all of the Mamas and The Papas are gone. I'm already considering making Michelle Phillips a pick in my 2008 Death Pool.
Der Kommissar Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 E. Howard Hunt died, so it looks like I'm on the board. I remember having a strong feeling about that choice, and it looks like it paid off.
CanadianChris Posted January 28, 2007 Author Report Posted January 28, 2007 I thought someone had Gump Worsley. Guess not. Toshiaki Koala and King Kamala Classic both had Bam Bam, so 90 points each. Will Scarlet gets 50 for E. Howard Hunt. Updated Standings - January 28, 2007 140 - Toshiaki Koala 90 - King Kamala Classic 50 - Timmy8271, Will Scarlet
