Just show the damn video, Federline.

That's it? Well, that's not exactly going to be enough to get the media attention I'm sure they are shooting for.

Maybe I'm behind the times a little but what video?

The thing is, you could put a lot of guys in Cena's current spot and they would make just as much money, but instead they would also put on good wrestling matches. There is nothing special about Cena that justifies why he needs to be the #1 face in the company. It's funny because his old gimmick was "The Prototype" and he basically is the Prototype for what Vince wants as his champion when someone else that makes a shitload of money, isn't there to make Vince backoff.

Who are these guys you speak of? And putting on good wrestling matches is nice, but that doesn't mean anything if you can't get the people to pay money to see you wrestle those matches.

Except for his drawing ratings, PPV buys and selling a ton of merchandise. As long as he keeps that up, that's all the justification needed to for him to the #1 face.

Yes, you could put a lot of people in Cena's spot but few of them would get as crazy over as Cena has. Cena is over and over big. It's not even up for debate given what he draws.

Does Conway have different hair from his last Raw appearances, looking similar to how he did in La Resistance, or was I confused with Johnny? I didn't even realize he was in there until it was mentioned here.

As someone who, when hearing about Ken Doane in OVW, assumed he was related to Jack Doan somehow, I see the reason for the name change and approve it. They even made a clear point of saying "Jack Doan, referee for this contest" on commentary as if to point out to people who would ask about the name change that there was a valid reason.

Yea. He's back to the cleanshaven/blond look, rather then the black/dark hair.

I assumed that Doane being changed to Dykstra is some sort of rib on the baseball player Lenny Dykstra. It seems like an out of nowhere name choice otherwise.

Speaking of out of nowhere name changes, I'd be remiss in not mentioning Victor Koslov...or should I say Oleg Prudius. I cannot believe they actually put this guy on Raw. I have seen him a few times on OVW and my god does this guy suck. I mean he REALLY SUCKS. As in like much, much worse than Khali. Prudius is one of the worst, most unintentionally hilarious wrestlers I've ever seen. So of course they put him on Raw. Meanwhile Boris Alexiev is still down here in OVW doing the same MMA gimmick 100x better. It just doesn't pay nowdays to be a Heyman project.

How long have you been watching WWE?

The 3-hour edition of Raw scored a 3.5 cable rating, with a 5.4 share. The show did hours of 2.9, 3.7 and 3.9. The usual 9 to 11 time slot scored a 3.8 cable rating, which is what the show has been scoring as of late.

AM Raw on 12.16 had two airings, with the 9 a.m. edition scoring a 0.4 cable rating, with a 1.2 share and the late night showing scoring a 0.9 cable rating, with a 3.9 share.

Cucaracha, you don't understand. I mean this guy was hysterically, laughably awful in OVW the 2-3 times he was on there. As in this guy should never, ever have gotten out of developmental. And he really doesn't have that great of a muscular look (not like for instance Brakkus) to justify bringing him up.

He sounds like this year's Khali. The editing team have their work cut out.

More like another Nathan Jones.

Worse than either Nathan Jones or Khali. Those guys both at least have freakish looks that can be marketed. Jones in particular I thought had a very cool look to him and some great vignettes, but he just sucked in the ring.

Oleg Prudius? He doesn't have much of an actual physique or "the look" to him. The times I saw him on OVW were when he did these open challenges and basically killed a bunch of OVW jobbers. He was so hilariously bad at first I was compelled to watch, but after the 6th jobber in a row I was mostly bored and wanted the pain to stop.

Jerry Jarrett had to be fucking with Vince when he brought this guy to Stamford. I always wondered about that, why Jarrett would bring a guy to Vince instead of getting him on with TNA. TNA obviously looked at the guy and said "Man, this guy really sucks" and didn't sign him. So I'm thinking for a joke Jarrett had him meet with Vince, and Vince actually SIGNED him. I assumed at the time he did it as a favor to Jerry Jarrett and would bury Prudius in OVW and he'd never see the light of day on WWE TV. I guess I assumed wrong.

Oh, I understand he's bad.

I'm just surprised that you're surprised WWE calls up people so bad anymore. If the gimmick is 'right', the person who carries it out is just an afterthought.
