Worst Song(s) of 2006

Recommended Posts

I like Nicole Scherzinger but the rest of PCD annoy me. They were just fine as the club act with the revolving guest leads. Why exactly did they need to become mainstream and watered-down? Let Scherzinger do her solo career (too talented to be wasting her time with this act) and put the PCD back where they belong.

Even so, how can anyone hate on “Buttons”?

quality.

Has no one mentioned "Bossy" yet? That wins in a walk. If you haven't heard it, feel blessed.

Yeah, "co-sign" or whatever. I refuse to subject myself to Fergie, so maybe I'm not taking in the full available range of shit to ingest, but this was one of the worst songs I've heard in the last few years. And I'm actually pretty open to hip-hop and R&B - I feel like Czech might suffer a Scanners-esque head explosion if he listened to this.

Guest Legalise Drugs and Murder

Is it me or does Fergie look kind of crosseyed?

Guest "Go, Mordecai!"

She's only a few degrees removed from a soccer mom who stays in shape.

Has it been discussed that the Black Eyed Peas, while horrible, are better now than back in their "alt rap" era? The hackwork of a bunch of no-talent pop stars is more tolerable than the BEP of yesteryear, what with their clumsy rhymes about reaching a higher consciousness and remarkably ill-advised boasts of alleged rapping skills.

I'm kind of surprised to see all the hate for the new Tool album. 'The Pot' is the first song by them that I haven't completely loathed since 'Sober'. I give my vote for worst song of the year to that song ('I Remember When'?) by Gnarles Barkley.

Fergie is 31. She is a former member of KIDS Incorporated and Wild Orchid. She was a co-host of the TV show "Great Pretenders". Fergie was born in 1975 in Hacienda Heights, CA to happy parents Patrick Ferguson and Terri Gore. As a child actress, Fergie was the voice of Sally Brown in "It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown(1984)" and "Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown(1985)". After Wild Orchid's record label declined to release the group's third album, Fergie became addicted to the drug crystal meth. According to an interview with a Scottish newspaper, Fergie claims that during this period, her weight dropped to 90 lbs. She told friends she was bulimic. In July of 2003, Fergie lended her voice to another animated character, this time, the fictitious rock diva Shaffika in the "Rocket Power" special "Reggie's Big Beach Break". Later that year, Fergie took over female vocal duties for hip-hop fusion combo Black Eyed Peas, replacing former vocalist Kim Hill. Before she was permitted to join the group, she recorded five songs with Will.I.Am and the lighter skinned guy. In 2005, Fergie backed out of the updated version of John Carpenter's "The Mist". Also in 2005, Fergie urinated in her pants while performing a concert, blaming the incident on a large number of drinks and a shaky bladder. Peeing in her pants didn't stop Fergie from snagging No. 36 in Maxim's Hot 100 List for 2006. On September 19th, 2006, Fergie released her solo debut, "The Dutchess", an intentional mispelling of the title of Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. Following the success of singles "London Bridge" and "Fergalicious", Fergie plans on releasing the song "Glamorous (feat. Ludacris)" as the third single. On her official myspace, she has set up a poll where fans can vote on the subsequent single. Currently, Fergie is dating Josh Duhamel who stars in the hit show "Las Vegas". Fergie is also set to star in the film "Grind House" set for a 2007 release. Fergie has won 2 Grammys, 2 American Music Awards, 2 MTV Video Music Awards, 2 MTV Europe Video Music Awards, 1 Teen Choice Award, and 1 Soul Train Music Award both as a solo artist and with the Black Eyed Peas.

Upon being reminded by a buddy of mine, I have changed my mind and the worst song of the year BAR NONE is that piece of shit song "Superman" And IMO Lady Sovereign is a much better solo artist than Fergie could ever hope to be.
