Special K Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I honestly think, if the Seahawks can score a TD, they can win. This is a big if.
MrRant Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I don't think anyone has said the Seahawks DON'T have a chance of winning. They just more than likely won't. Which is different than Marvin's guarantee of the Ravens being able to beat the Colts.
KingPK Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 (edited) This year, with no real "great" team, anyone can win in these playoffs (yes, even the vaunted Chargers aren't infallible). I still think that any of the AFC teams (except for maybe a Colts/Bears matchup) will smash the NFC team in Miami, though. Remaining AFC teams total record vs. NFC: 14-2 Remaining NFC teams total record vs. AFC: 6-10 Edited January 13, 2007 by KingPK

Hawk 34 Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Keep in mind that the Eastern Conference and the National League looked inferior and they won their respective championships.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 This is the one thing that had me thinking the Colts might pull this out--Wayne against Rolle. Sure, take Harrison out of the game, but Rolle gets beat on way too many coverages and Manning-to-Wayne can make him pay for that. My call was 27-20 Ravens, incidentally.
KingPK Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 So does Reggie Wayne bathe in manure before the game or something? Rolle's giving him like a 10-yard cushion which is ridiculous.
naiwf Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 3 down, 28 to go. The Colts got tight sphincters inside the 5. A quick out to Wayne or the TE would have been money on 3rd and goal. If the Colts get the ball there as they should and score a TD this one is over.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 That's a fumble, guys. Come on. Don't blow this call. Hahaha. Yes. Colts ball. Faster, Peyton, kill, kill.
The Robfather Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Clearly a fumble. These officals better get the call right.
Guest Legalise Drugs and Murder Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 FUMBLE GOD DAMMIT~! I'm playing "This is Our Drunk Country" this week, folks. Haven't seen it yet, though. EDIT: HAHA! YES! Fuck you Todd!
naiwf Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Who's calling these 3rd down plays? Terrible.
CanadianChris Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Damn, they needed a TD on this possession.
Guest Legalise Drugs and Murder Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Hey, six points this early is fine.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I will be midly amused if the Colts score 3 TDs and a FG and only make it to 30 points.
KingPK Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 Both teams are making stupid-ass calls on third down so far.
naiwf Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 The start of this game is kind of similar to Giants/Eagles. When you have early chances to bury the home team you need to do it.
KingPK Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 (edited) Wayne with the soccer flop there to draw a flag. Trying to start the offense with Addai is not going to work today; Manning needs to zone in on Wayne like he's an endorsement deal. Are these teams trying to out suck each other on third down today? Edited January 13, 2007 by KingPK
Urban Warfare Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 What a terrible decision by Manning.
CanadianChris Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 This is why the Colts needed a TD after the turnover. They can't let the Ravens stay close, because the defence will come up with plays like that.
Urban Warfare Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 McNair throws a pick at the one. Ouch.
naiwf Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 The Colts are dead in the water if they don't at least try to open up the passing game.
KingPK Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 Colts with the Ann Coulter offense at the one.
Black Lushus Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Marvin will be banned like tony manero. Yay. I think alkeiper should hold Marvin to this...yay, now I have a REAL reason to watch this game! man COME ON COLTS!
CanadianChris Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 What a horrible penalty by Baltimore.
naiwf Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Would it kill 'Dancing' Joseph Addai to not take 5 lateral steps before running full speed ahead? Gumbel just got abused on that flea flicker. LOL.
CanadianChris Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Wow, I don't think I've ever seen that. Vinatieri puts it off the crossbar and in.
