Leena, watching Orton's '04 IC run, and the original buildup for his WM 21 Taker feud, Orton looked much healthier and younger. His head now resembles Kurt Angle's, with its flattop, veins and pink tone replacing the one nice haircut and cocky grin.

 

Basically, ever since he lost his muscle when he was hurt post-Mania 21, he's been lanky and looks more like a washed up "Quit the Military" roidhead then a destined for greatness youngster.

 

Thus, Orton has lost everything.

 

P.S. His totally homolicious baby blue t-shirt didn't help.

For those who didn't get enough Khali last night...

 

ECW.com has learned that before Khali leaves the Land of the Extreme, he will honor his commitments and face Tommy Dreamer one-on-one on this week’s ECW on Sci Fi.

Khali was moved to Raw in response to HHH's injury, but not to fill the hole left by him. The plan was indeed for the DX v RKO feud to continue a little longer, and Khali was going to be moved over, but not this soon.

 

With Big Show looking less and less likely to be able to go at Mania, Khali is now the leading candidate to face Hulk Hogan at Mania. Vince really wants to play off of Wrestlemania 3 with Hogan vs a giant, and now Khali appears to be that man.

 

Khali was moved to Raw to get more exposure in preparation for the Hogan match. Big Show may still return for this, but with it looking less likely it is now Khali vs Hogan at Mania.

 

According to people backstage, Diavari will soon be on Smackdown as a cruiserweight.

Hahaha... Man, I knew this show was gonna get a lot of bitching. Imagine being there live after driving from KC after a decent ppv to see that horrible, horrible excuse of a show.

 

Dark match was Kozlov vs. Eugene for the second night in a row. This time Kozlov worked the arm, sort of. The match was still terrible.

 

Heat results:

 

Super Crazy d. Charlie Haas with a standing moonsault. Passable, but heatless.

 

Viscera d. Local Jobber with a Baldo Bomb. Very boring with no heat.

 

Highlanders d. 2 Local Jobbers with their tag finisher. About what you'd expect.

 

Shelton Benjamin d. Jim Duggan with a big kick. Shelton dominated most of the match thankfully.

 

Raw itself was godawful. Lots of promos and short matches. The crowd was hot for Cena when he came out, but the Khali announcement combined with Rosie/Donald stuff killed everything for the rest of the night.

 

Only things worth noting are as follows:

 

The Rosie/Donald match got shit on big time. Loud "boring" chant was probably heard on tv. Also, there was a fairly loud "TNA" chant, which I hope picked up. There was a decent pop when it was finally over.

 

On a more humorous note, Edge and Orton had to redo their entrance. They got cued out too early, but did the full entrance with smoke and everything. They then awkwardly walked back up the ramp and backstage. A minute or so later, they re-did the intro with no smoke and acted as if nothing happened.

 

The dark ME was Cena beating Umaga easily with the FU. Not worth it.

I thought at first he was going to be kind of an Ivan Drago type character...say nice things in English, and then say stuff like "I'm going to destroy the Americans" in Russian, or something like that. Instead, it seems like he's going to be an idiot simpleton, which we've already seen a million times before.

Khali vs Hulk Hogan is better than Big Show vs Hogan and thats only because Hogan has never beat Khali before, its to well known that Hogan has beat Big Show before. So Khali vs Hogan might draw more intrest.

And Hogan vs Khali? Has anyone explained why Hogan has to wrestle PERIOD at Mania? What EXACTLY is the point of having Khali destroy the roster to build him up for a match with Hulk Hogan? Wouldn't it be better to build up someone ELSE to take him down and use it to get a push instead of burying the whole upper mid card and main event roster so HOGAN can have his ego stroked?

They needed to come up with a cheap excuse to keep him off the PPV if Khali were to work the gimmick match he might of killed Undertaker Mortal Kombat style by impaling him on the cage spikes.

I was at that show. He wasn't in the match, but came through the crowd and climbed the outside cage and it looked like he fucked up cause he had to crawl around the whole thing.

 

He came out at the end.
