Annabelle Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 how does anyone have the mental capacity or motivation to remember a worthless thread to dredge up 3 years after its original post date? stay amazing, tsm.
Ravenbomb Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 I'm going to bump this thread. It might be years from now, but I am going to bump this thread. I'm just saying right now.
Annabelle Posted January 12, 2007 Author Report Posted January 12, 2007 You're stupid. i think that actually might be the case. thats what i am worried about. see, i posted this, and didn't realise that i left myself vulnerable to being called stupid. it is my stupidity that blocks any memory of a ben folds five thread from 2 years ago.
Slayer Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 You go through the archives, find an old thread, and then make a post so that it appears in the current forum ...what kind of question is this
Star Ocean 3 Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 The only "bumps" I'm concerned with are things that go bump in the night. One minute you're enjoying a siesta on your saddle curled up in the corner with a half empty bottle of cerveza, the next your feet are tied tighter than a pig loves its trough. If a man can't trust his own ranch, what can he trust?

Okay, check this out, this is amazing shit: "Were there any threads about Ben Folds Five?" "I'll search for the word folds." "Oh, there's one."
Annabelle Posted January 12, 2007 Author Report Posted January 12, 2007 not how to sue the search engines, sillys. how you even remember that there was a thread like this to search for. and other threads that have been created in the past.
Black Lushus Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 oh you know how it goes...you start a thread and then there's always some schmuck that chimes in with "there's already a thread on this"...no matter how old that thread was or how long it's been inactive.
Slayer Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Only in Banky's world would having a good memory be considered a character fault

I have no recollection of this thread in question. I simply picked the first thread I saw with "Ben Folds Five" in the name. This is weird, even for you.
Wyld Cannon Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 bumping uglies > bumping threads, amirite?
Annabelle Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 Only in Banky's world would having a good memory be considered a character fault hey guy. i said i am the one with the flaw.
k thx Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I'm gonna side with Banky on this one. If you recall a meaningless thread from years back and decide to bump it, that's pretty lame. There's far more important things you should be remembering instead of threads.
k thx Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Didn't see that post coming, right? (I would have just copied exactly what snuffbox put, but I'd look illiterate)
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Not as clever as you thought.

There's far more important things you should be remembering instead of threads. Because you can only have a finite number of memories!

Slayer Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 The way you guys are talking though makes it sound like if I have space in my memory to remember old useless threads on a message board, I must not be able to simultaneously remember important things like paying next month's mortgage "He remembers important things, which is good, but he remembers insignificant things too, so he sucks!"

No, but there are a miriad other things that you (not you specifically, you know what I mean) have probably forgotten that are more important than a meaningless thread from years ago.
BUTT Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 You can't always choose what you're going to remember, Chave. I mean, I'd rather remember all the stuff I learned in astronomy class about the differentiating characteristics of the planets than remember your thread about how you were afraid that porn was going to turn you into a sexual deviant but unfortunately a lot of inconsequential stuff stays with you longer than important stuff.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 I wish I remembered how to do logarithms, but I just remember "i thnk w shld tlk lk ths."
k thx Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 I'm flattered that people I've never met (and probably never will do) find my life more memorable, and therefore presumably more important, than astronomy or logarithms.
SuperJerk Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 how does anyone have the mental capacity or motivation to remember a worthless thread to dredge up 3 years after its original post date? stay amazing, tsm. Ahem. sorry. i didnt realise tsm had punctured rusty hooks into your eye lids & forced you to read this thread.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 SuperJerk, you just used that quote in the last post you made!
