Kurt Angle Mark Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Last night the Warriors almost had to forfeit their game against the Clippers They had two call up two players from the NBDL and sign another to a ten day contract. While having to have an injured Foyle dress up just so that they could meet the 8 player requirement.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Chris Mullin's days must be numbered. Does anyone in San Francisco even care about the Warriors anymore?
Just John Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 It is amazing, the gap between the Lakers, Spurs, Mavericks, Suns, and Rockets, and everyone else in the league. The wacky things is one of these teams is gonna end up as a FIVE seed. If they were in the East, they would be heading to the East finals with very little thought or trepedation. One of them will actually wind up as the 6 (most likely the Lakers or Rockets) because the Northwest Division winner will get the 4 spot. Maybe the Rockets can repeat what they did in the 94-95 sesason.
alfdogg Posted January 19, 2007 Author Report Posted January 19, 2007 Very happy with the Pacers tonight. We played basically 6 guys (Tinsley, Daniels, Granger, O'Neal, Foster with Shawne Williams off the bench, everyone else played 8 minutes or less), and only lost by 3 despite 58% shooting from the Heat. The Heat shot 66% in the first half, 75% between the second and third quarters, and led by as many as 16. If not for the refs blowing a couple plays near the end, we may have snuck out with the win. Foster was HUGE down the stretch, and Granger went for a career-high 28. I expect a lot more nights like that from him with Harrington and Jackson gone.
alfdogg Posted January 19, 2007 Author Report Posted January 19, 2007 Wow, they actually let Croshere play tonight.
Just John Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 When will the Pacers get their new guys on the floor?
The Electrifyer Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I found it amusing that Andrei Kirilenko has an place on his ESPN profile telling you how to pronounce his last name, "KEER-uh-LENK-oh". http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3347
Cheech Tremendous Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Most players have the same thing on their profile card.
The Electrifyer Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I don't see it anywhere else. Not even Sarunas Jasikevicius.
alfdogg Posted January 20, 2007 Author Report Posted January 20, 2007 We should have the new guys tommorrow.
razazteca Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 I found it amusing that Andrei Kirilenko has an place on his ESPN profile telling you how to pronounce his last name, "KEER-uh-LENK-oh". http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3347 I hear the voice of the Pride FC female annoucer pronouncing the name in my head.
mike546 Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 AHHH FUCK. Thats two games in a row Isiah. FUCK.
razazteca Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Mark Madsen flops, KG throws the ball at McDyss starting the basketbrawl....KG gets ejected.
bobobrazil1984 Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Yeah I dunno how Madsen went down from that weak ass McDyess hit, but it did look like Dice semi-deliberately threw the hit. Madsen went down from the arm/elbow, KG shoved Dice, Dice shoved KG back, KG threw the ball, people seperated them. on the other note, I'm fairly happy with the way Webber has played. He's not much of a defender but he has made some good shots and good passes. He has 16 pts.
Brett Favre Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 AHHH FUCK. Thats two games in a row Isiah. FUCK. And he used the timeout in this game after Marbury got this switch against Mikki Moore. I was about to cry after this lost. Damn.
