snuffbox Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Phil Simms is the Marty Schottenheimer of the announce booth.
Guest Smues Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Wouldn't be the Patriots without the false hope.
Hawk 34 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 it will be unbareable with either the colts or the pats. the media would hype them equally for different reasons. Yeah, but Pats would be worse. Besides, Midwest pride and all that jazz. Correct but I worry morons like Wilbon would turn a Colts/Bears game into a glorification of minority rights. It's the only thing the media will bother to cover because the only other real topic is the inconsistency of Sexy Rexy and the big game failures of Manning. Maybe Tank will get arrested for good measure. (Actually, isn't there a issue about him possibly not being able to travel to Miami?)
naiwf Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 "Daggum special teams." Brady's doing the Manning Face right now after Caldwell dropped that gimme TD.
hyperchord24 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Fuck Tom Brady Fuck Bill Belichick Fuck the Patriots. I have an irrational hatred for them and everyone who says I shouldn't is absolutely right.
MFer Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 I guess Berman doesn't call him "Ricochet" for nothing.
Urban Warfare Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Looked out to me.. Edit: Maybe not..this is very close.
packwingfn Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Everything goes the Patriots way. I'm so sick of them!
Hawk 34 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Given how the post-season generally works, Indy will probably regret giving this timeout up.

RepoMan Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Dungy pulled a Marty there. Hope he dosn't need that timeout latter.

2GOLD Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Honestly, that's a smart challenge by Dungy. There were so many things that could have been wrong with that but Gaffney just made one hell of a nice play overall. That was nothing like Marty's stupid "what exactly are you looking at?" challenge.
The Man in Blak Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 I think Gaffney's heel was out of bounds before he elevated for the catch, but there's no clear angle to use for reviewing that and the pushout was so blatant anyway that it wasn't getting overturned. Great catch by Gaffney and the Colts probably shouldn't have burned that timeout there.
Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 By the looks of things there goes Ben Utecths knee, looked very much like an ACL.
Guest Smues Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 God this might actually come down to a missed Vinetari field goal at the end. Fuck me please don't happen. I want the Colts to win, but if they lose don't let it be by that. Please god no.
Hawk 34 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Is that the new power play? "Fumble, fat guy picks it up in the scrum and crawls to the goal line".
Hawk 34 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 God this might actually come down to a missed Vinetari field goal at the end. Fuck me please don't happen. I want the Colts to win, but if they lose don't let it be by that. Please god no. Go back to the pre-season and that's precisely what I predicted. It's pretty much the situation everyone is expecting to see.
packwingfn Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 If this game comes down to Vinitari or Gostkowski, I swear the NFL is fixed.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Even if the Colts win this, I like the Bears' chances to beat Indy much more than Not Quite Boston.
Guest Smues Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Even if the Colts win this, I like the Bears' chances to beat Indy much more than Not Quite Boston. Sadly I think the Bears would pound the Colts silly, but at least I'd have some interest in the game.
Urban Warfare Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Trouble for the Colts...Bob Sanders down.
Urban Warfare Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Colts definitely got away with some interference there.
Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 How is that play by Hayden different to the call on Hobbs?
Hawk 34 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 If NE doesn't win this game, Caldwell might want to call Buckner up.
