The Amazing Rando Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Oh wait... I have to mention... ZACK ATTACK~
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 The Prison Break flashback episode I dont see how that was much of a gimmick. It provided needed backstory to the characters. I just ran across an episode of Mad About you, which got me to think about a gimmick that I hate.. The Clip Show
Ravenbomb Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 But it gave that backstory in a slightly gimmicky way. It strayed from the linear structure of the show and gave us an episode that was nothing but flashbacks.
pochorenella Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 The already mentioned Seinfeld "backwards episode" is a favorite, as well as the "Hush" episode of Buffy. Not a big fan of the "Musical" episode, though. This was also mentioned before, but the "Triangle" episode of The X-Files is another favorite of mine.
Youth N Asia Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 The My Name is Earl episode where everyone had their own parts of the main story "Hi, my name is Crabman"
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Im tired of hearing about the X Play Musical. Its bad enough that its the only show I watch on the god awful G4 Network..
starvenger Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 The My Name is Earl episode where everyone had their own parts of the main story "Hi, my name is Crabman" It was more along the lines of "Hi, my name... well, you better just call me Crabman", wasn't it?
Youth N Asia Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Yeah, but I didn't remember all that, so I just went with Crabman
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular Behind the Laughter 22 Short Films About Springfield Treehouse of Horror series
SuperJerk Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 The final episode of "Dallas" where they did a rip-off of Its a Wonderful Life, except (like the "Married with Children" ep) everyone else was better off without J.R., and at the end the episode it turned out to be a "demon" trying to get J.R. to kill himself.
bob_barron Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 The Without a Trace from the parents POV
