MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2007 That's nice. Nobody cares. I didnt figure anyone cared, Im probably the only one watching the SOTU, and only because its in glorious HD on about 5 networks (not counting fox and their damned widescreen SD crap). But her blinking will be what everyone is talking about tomorrow.

Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Report post Posted January 24, 2007 I think I lasted 30 minutes before I couldn't look at George Bush talking, Dick Cheney smirking, and Nancy Pelosi scowling all at once. What a three-headed monster that is, huh. We will conserve oil! (STANDING OVATION) By using alternative energy! (STANDING OVATION) For America! (STANDING OVATION) Such as clean coal! (STANDING OVATION) Nucular power! (STANDING OVATION) And corn! (STANDING OVATION) But we must also worry about Iraq! (STANDING OVATION FROM ONE HALF BUT THE OTHER MAKES A WEIRD NOISE)
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2007 God this generation is pathetic. When NBC had the little "in HD" thing at the bottom of the screen I thought of Marvin. Lo and behold, this thread is waiting for me.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2007 God this generation is pathetic. When NBC had the little "in HD" thing at the bottom of the screen I thought of Marvin. Lo and behold, this thread is waiting for me. This thread really isnt as much about HD as it is about her annoying blinking. The HD only factors in because I wouldnt have watched the SOTU speech if it wasnt in HD. You could see her blinking in 4:3, so everyone saw her blinking.. I swear its gonna be the #1 topic tomorrow..I couldnt tell you one thing Bush said aside from the shoutouts to Dikembe Mutombo and the Subway guy..her blinking was that distracting..between that and her re-arranging her dentures in her mouth with her tongue every 5 minutes.. Egh..
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2007 I said this generation's pathetic because something like the State of the Union is viewed based on its entertainment merits. And her blinking won't even be mentioned. You must not follow the news too much.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Report post Posted January 24, 2007 The State of the Union really is just a lot of spectacle, though. If it was all about the content, don't you think it'd be more than sentence-applause-sentence-applause? Oh, and the #1 topic tomorrow is certainly not going to be Nancy Pelosi blinking, you insufferable dolt.

Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Report post Posted January 25, 2007 Marvin is really just fantastically pathetic. Why do you write it like that, though? I just don't get it. It's not rendered that way, like an upside-down i, so what is the significance of this? I Dont really have a reason.. its just how I write it. I even sharpied over the "Wii" on mine to make it .Yay for personal customization and stuff. I cant understand how two ‼ instead of ii or an added F to something can piss off so many people that it becomes such a huge issue. and I see the filter has been updated to include ‼. Yeah, pasting in the word as an image to circumvent a stupid little macro. This is a new low.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2007 Wait, Marvin spent that money he worked hard for (and even gave up dates) and brought some video game system that is atrociously overpriced and drew on it with a sharpie to fit with his harebrained concoction? BUTT 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2007 I just don't get it. A lowercase "i" looks like an upside-down exclamation point. This is not exclusive to Nintendo's new machine.
