Guest Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Refs are fucking the end of this game up bad. Going both ways.
CanadianChris Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Hey, a coach that actually knows to foul with a three-point lead!
Edwin MacPhisto Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Heartbreak city. Reynold's mid-game injury was the big difference-maker, and I mourn.
Guest Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Winthrop has Oregon playing a style that the Ducks DO NOT WANT TO PLAY. I'm thinkin' upset here.
Hawk 34 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Oregon really got exposed on friday by Miami. Slow them down and Oregon gets lost. Edit: as soon as I said that, Oregon kicked into high gear. Looks like my comment about today's games not going to be able to match up in awesomeness to yesterday's might have been wrong as most of these games are doing quite well.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Yesterday was one of the Top 5 Days of The Game of Basketball Ever, so I doubt today can match that. I lost VA today. I hope Oregon loses. Go VA Tech. Go Florida.
Hawk 34 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Florida holds Purdue off and saves the national bracket for another round. UNLV taking Wisco out today would be huge for me especially if Oregon keeps Winthrop at bay.
2GOLD Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 See you later Badgers. The Rebels still be running. Butler and UNLV moving on, god I love it. My step brother owns me 50 bucks.
Guest Sabu Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Fuck you Wisconsin. Now I can't see my Oregon-Wisconsin matchup
Edwin MacPhisto Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Oregon really ran away with that one, and Virginia Tech is getting visibly frustrated as Southern Illinois repeatedly knocks them over. It looks like UNC will be the only ACC rep in the Sweet 16.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Yeah People might want to turn down ESPN for those behind the scene features. Tennessee(2006) and Wisconsin(2007) both 2 seeds out in the second round

Bored Posted March 18, 2007 Author Report Posted March 18, 2007 With Winthrop gone this will be the first time since 1995 that no double digit seed advanced to the Sweet 16. That year no one below a 6 seed advanced past the first weekend.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 USC looking good so far If Texas loses my bracket is done(have them in title game), however I did feel that USC would be their biggest obstacle but I couldn't pick against God
Vern Gagne Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 With Winthrop gone this will be the first time since 1995 that no double digit seed advanced to the Sweet 16. That year no one below a 6 seed advanced past the first weekend. Good. I know we're supposed to love "cinderella, but I think in the long run the tourney is better off with the high seeds advancing further.
CanadianChris Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 I've heard everyone talk about how bad Rick Barnes' game planning is, but I never dreamed it could be this bad. Durant should be touching the ball way more than half the time.
cabbageboy Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 I was just wondering but how exactly is UNLV a Cinderella? Aren't they kind of a well known program for that? The ACC and Big 10 performances aren't shocking. Let's face it, regardless of the RPI anyone with a brain knew the ACC was very down this year. I've noted that you can always tell the ACC is down when you have VT and UVA vying for the league title. I was shocked that the announcers said UVA had a better shot at OSU in the next round....I mean HUH? Do they not recall Tennessee coming within an eyelash of beating OSU in Columbus? The one team I feel truly foolish for not having in my Sweet 16 is SIU. Since they are a real grinding, low scoring team I thought they were a prime upset pick (being that someone can always upset a team like that 52-50). I think they can give Kansas a real hard time in the next round, since they WILL knock the shit out of the Jayhawks physically.
snuffbox Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Wasn't that OSU-Tenn game played when Oden had the injured hand?

Kentucky isn't laying down for the Jayhawks, though they probably need to kick into gear here or they're gonna get left behind.

Guest Sabu Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Well my Bracket is going down hill fast. You can't orchestrate a better choke job than what i've had
CanadianChris Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 I really wish I'd taken my own advice and picked Texas to go out in the second round.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Hmm.. If Texas goes out today, I wonder what Durant will do General Observation: The quality of college cheerleaders has improved ten-fold, never seen so many nice looking cheerleaders before
Hawk 34 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Wisco falling out was big for me. Texas choking was more deadly. I had Nevada over Memphis as well. That's still in play, though.
