That Foley promo was rambling and non-sensical, Snitsky can't even shave his damned head, Cor Von's elimination was horrendous. It looks like they are giving a lot of time to Orton/Lashley, at least. In the build-up to WM21, he hit Stacy Keibler (who he had been flirtatious with on Raw for a few weeks) with an RKO and then sealed the heel deal by going to Smackdown and doing a heel beatdown with Bob Orton on Taker after Bob pleaded with Taker to not destroy Randy. Edge is clearly the top heel on raw, and when was the last time you saw a heel/heel matchup?? Orton got a bigger pop than either Flair or Carlito last week, and he didn't do anything heelish to win the match. I'm not certain, but it definitely looks as though they are teasing a face turn. and FWIW, Orton RKO'ing Stacy was a pretty good way to turn heel, combined with all his other Legend Killer antics after his pep talk from SS Billy Graham. He was already going places with this heel version after spending a few weeks being the typical angry grunting heel before the Matt story really broke out. It obviously helped but he's carried that momentum big time. He is believable because he's damn good at the chracter (regardless of how much it might be a case of art imitating life) and is a flat out great heel. He was a good heel long before Matt/Lita/Edge ever occured. He's a natural as long as he isn't the generic heel. Guest robrabies Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Orton's not HBK by any means, but that match was terrible. He definitely isn't at the point where he can carry anyone (as the Hogan match proved). I don't get the CW, and have only seen Lashley in the MITB match and a smattering of others, but he looked like a complete stiff in that match. Those two didn't have any chemistry.
