Lil' Bitch Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Basically, I'm looking for something easy and relatively cheap to use. And also one that let will let me add a Fade In and Fade To Black effect to the video.
Ravenbomb Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Well, I'm not sure if it has the fading in and out, but if you're on Windows XP then you should have Microsoft Movie Maker (or Windows Movie Maker, I forget which it is) already on your computer. If not, I'd go with Ulead Video Studio. It's not as advanced as Adobe Premiere or Avid Xpress, but it's not as expensive either, and it's still damn good.
World's Worst Man Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Virtual Dub or Virtual Dub Mod (for mkv/ogm) are what you need.
Craig Th Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 You can download Final Cut, if you have a Mac, for free.
Yuna_Firerose Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 For what you're looking for, I second Windows Movie Maker. Easy and, if you're on Windows XP, it should already be there (obviously).
Sideburnious Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Sony Video Vegas is a good one if your just messing about too.
bobobrazil1984 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 I'll second that, Video Vegas is pretty decent if you're not getting too advanced.

Mike Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Try Magix Movie something. I used it this past Christmas and the previous years before that. Very nice and simple, but has some power too.
