Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted April 2, 2007 It's too bad Juan Pierre is black. If he was white, he'd be up there with Eckstein in scrappy grittiness.
Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Adam Dunn with HR #2 on the day and the Reds lead it 3-0 in the bottom of the third. Could've been much worse as well as Freel got greedy on a missed throw to first and was thrown out when trying to advance to second.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Pavano alright after one inning. The Yankees up 2-0. Rocco Baldilli limping after the first at bat.
devo 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 He went on to get a hit and steal second. I think he's fine.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Wow, did Contreras ever get pounded. Eight runs on eight hits and a walk in one inning of work.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Bases loaded and no runs scored. Ahhh, good ole Cubs baseball is back. In other news, Pavano turned into Pavano and ended up giving up 5 runs. But that's ok, he'll still be 0-0 after the Tampa bullpen gave up a two run single.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted April 2, 2007 A-Rod only singles in a 5-5 game. Not clutch. What do you think you're being paid $50 billion for Mr. McSelfishness?

Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted April 2, 2007 It's against Ben Sheets. You didn't have much chance anyway.
Guest Report post Posted April 2, 2007 I thought Sheets would get hurt before the 3rd inning, to be completely honest.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Braves and Phillies are having a hell of a game. Goin' to the top of the 10th tied at three. It hasn't been such a hell of a game, but the Jays and Tigers are doing the exact same thing.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 (edited) Man, Tampa's bullpen's gonna cost them a LOT of games this year. So it's a typical Devil Rays team. REO Speedwagon? That's the best the Royals could do for Opening Day? Edited April 2, 2007 by KingPK
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 A-Rod with a 2 run A-Bomb. 9-5 Yankees. Figures, he only homers when the Yankees already have the lead.
vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 So, the Trib's selling the Cubs at the end of this season to real-estate mogul Sam Zell. I think the ticker said for $8.25 million.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 The Worst Manager in Baseball Charlie Manuel puts the Phillies CLOSER in for the 9th, when the game is tied. He then puts Shits Madson in for the 10th, who gives up the big homerun. BRILLIANT, CHARLIE! New season, same suck.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 So, the Trib's selling the Cubs at the end of this season to real-estate mogul Sam Zell. I think the ticker said for $8.25 million. No, Zell is buying Tribune Co., and the Cubs will be sold to someone else after the season.

Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Alexander with a meaningless HR against the should-be contracted Devil Rays. He so only did it for himself, too. I could tell by the look in his eyes. No, I won't do this every Yankee game. Just most of them.
Danville_Wrestling 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 Good 5-1 win by the Reds today as Harang threw some good stuff and Adam Dunn provided three of the runs off of his two HR's in his first two at bats. Bottom of the lineup, though, gave us absolutley nothing from Hatteberg on down except for Gonzalez who went 1-for-2 with 1 RBI. Griffey looks like he needs to get more comfortable playing right field but Freel did a good job fielding with a fantastic catch in the middle of the game. Cubs just couldn't get any offense going with their only run occuring on a bad throw toward third base that went into the stands and thereby scoring on an error. Now, if the Reds can repeat this another 90 times this year we'll be going to the playoffs...
