Turco just made an unreal save on a waiting-in-front Daniel Sedin, and Luongo stumbled off a Barnes shot, but it trickled wide. Check out, hell, I don't even remember which Star, almost scoring on his own net on a delayed penalty from behind Luongo. It'll certainly be on Sportcentre tonight, provided this game ends.

Seriously, the only positives from tonight were Lang and Bertuzzi stepping up. If the Wings don't win Saturday, it is over.

Everyone at the rink flipped out during that almost-empty-net goal, it was pretty hilarious. The atmosphere was amazing at GM Place at the start of the game, but things were very up and down throughout. They really need to work on putting some more prompts to the crowd via the big screen and such, even simple stuff like "Go Canucks Go" would be nice. Speaking of chants, a bunch of people behind me had a "Turco beats his wife" chant going for a while in overtime. +1 point for originality, -10000 points for lack of class.

I walked into Tortorella's "press conference" in which he told a reporter to audibly 'get the fuck out of here', and said reported clearly said "Fuck you" on camera to him. When it was over, Ron MacLean mentioned the opposite sides of the spectrum of Tortorella and Joni Mitchell....? Sabres wrap it up, but I'll leave that to Leena.

Sabes over Rangers in 5...and they won't really try then either I don't know if they can do the same against the Rangers. Lundqvist is playing really well, and can win a couple games by himself. They also have a lot more scoring talent, even though most of them are ancient. And Avery did a great job of shutting down Kovulchuk. The Rangers a lot better, much deeper team in all areas. I hope the Lightning win... I think the Sabres can half-ass and still beat them...
