Brett Favre Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Do you think the announcer for the suns/laker game can keep up this annoying Nash and Kobe dick sucking for an entire game? Because seriously, they need to make this game TV-MA if they are. This is just plain fucking annoying. It was a layup you fucking asshole, he didn't just make the greatest play ever. Now you know what I go through watching Knick games. Mike Breen is ALWAYS on opposing players dicks.
Ripper Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I swear. I am going to have to watch this game on mute and I hate doing that.
Ripper Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 On that suns inbounds play Lamar Odem just decided he was going to take this game over, and is doing it. I like Lamar.
Black Lushus Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Rip, don't be so modest with Nash, dude is fucking incredible and so much fun to watch.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Rip, don't be so modest with Nash, dude is fucking incredible and so much fun to watch. Yes he is but "The best passer in NBA history" is going a bit too far IMO
Ripper Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Rip, don't be so modest with Nash, dude is fucking incredible and so much fun to watch. Yeah, he is a good player, but jesus "Has there ever been a better passer in the league history?" "Suns made great defensive rotations...LOOK AT NASH ON THIS PLAY..He ran with his hands up. Amazing." I appreciate that he is making good plays but throwing a simple bounce pass to Amare who spins to the basket and dunks because Bynum went the wrong way is not a incredible, lets drool over this guy great play. Its a basketball play. Nash and Bryant were neck and neck with the announcer blowage in the first half but now this has just gotten ridiculous for Nash. I mean they were praising him for the suns play while he was on the bench.
Black Lushus Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 LOLZ @ MVP chants for Kobe...though, I guess he probably IS the MVP because this team would be utter garbage without him.
Narcoleptic Jumper Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Nash is about to break the playoff record for assists in a game. That doesn't put him at least in contention for greatest passer of all time?
Ripper Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Scott Skiles holds the record for most assist in a game EVER. I don't think anyone will suggest he is the greatest passer of all time.
Brett Favre Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 You just gotta listen to Breen when he says it. "Nash might be the greatest passer of all time HAHAH..Oh WOW! And SUDDENLY its a 13 POINT GAME! JUST LIKE THAT!"
The Electrifyer Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Magic Johnson has got to be the most humble person ever. He just said he wants Nash to break his playoffs most assists in a game record.
2GOLD Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Magic Johnson has got to be the most humble person ever. He just said he wants Nash to break his playoffs most assists in a game record. Well, I doubt yelling, "Choke white boy, CHOKE!" would have went over really well with a live audience. 23 assists, wow that is just crazy passing skills.
bobobrazil1984 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I dont even care about this toronto/NJ game - I want to see golden state at dallas. I'm not afraid to say it, I didnt think GS would have a chance, i thought they were this year's "overrated underdog!" (in reality it looks like Denver is the one this year so far). I'm sort of rooting for them now. I fully believe the winner of tonight's game wins the series. If GS wins, for obvious reasons (3-1)... if Dallas wins tonight and ties it up, it would just feel like Dallas weathered the storm and are mentally tough - great teams go down in playoff series all the time, but they lock down and weather it and don't panic, if dallas wins tonight after everything GS did, i think that's their moment. But I hope GS wins tonight!
treble Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Oh my, the Raptors are looking awful. I think they win the series in 7, though.
Ripper Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Its alot to ask of a inexperienced team to come back from 3-1. If they lose tonight, I don't think they will take it.
Just John Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 What would give anyone confidence in the Raptors at this point? They got out-played for 1.75 games in Toronto, and have been embarrassed both times back in the states.
treble Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I have no reason other than that they play well at home.
Black Lushus Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 nothing like the Atlantic division bringing down an otherwise fun playoff day.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I have no reason other than that they play well at home. Except vs the Nets. In the playoffs.
World's Worst Man Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Fuck the Raptors. Just fuck 'em. The only way they come back in this series is if NJ shoots about 25% the rest of the way.
Guest Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 That announcing in the game today reminded me of Doug Collins whenever he does Laker games, but I think it was a little worse. Doug is all over Kobe.
2GOLD Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Man, this game is just embarrassing to watch. The Raptors are being absolutely humiliated and will need an amazing run in the fourth quarter just to make the game a blowout. Cause losing by 30 in a playoff game isn't getting blown out, that's getting outclassed.
Just John Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Looks like the Golden State bandwagon has run the Toronto one right off the road now.
alfdogg Posted April 30, 2007 Author Report Posted April 30, 2007 Never thought I'd be reduced to rooting for the Nets, but I'm still kind of bitter at the league for trying to give LeBron and the Cavs a cookie-laden path to the conference finals, when they're clearly not that good of a team. Washington wins this series if they have Arenas and Butler.
Guest Richard McBeef Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Never thought I'd be reduced to rooting for the Nets, but I'm still kind of bitter at the league for trying to give LeBron and the Cavs a cookie-laden path to the conference finals, when they're clearly not that good of a team. Washington wins this series if they have Arenas and Butler. How did the league do that? The Bulls would've been the beneficiaries of that policy if they could've won one stinkin' game in the Meadowlands.
alfdogg Posted April 30, 2007 Author Report Posted April 30, 2007 Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, but that was exactly my point.
Guest Richard McBeef Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 But how is the league trying to do anything for the Cavaliers, when it could've been the Bulls (who are a good team, obv.) getting the corpse of the Wizards?
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I guess he is implying the bad calls Bulls got in that game was the NBA trying to give Cavs the spot.
Guest Richard McBeef Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Oh, sorry. I didn't manage to infer that. Yeah, I can see that. Chuck Klosterman once said that part of why we love the NBA is that deep down, we know it's rigged. Now that doesn't make a lot of sense, but come on, everyone could see that the Knicks' envelope in the '85 lottery was dog-eared.
treble Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Funny thing is, the Raptors would have gotten the Wizards if they hadn't won that game in Washington with the crazy ending. They might have fucked themselves over right there.
