Guest TotalJim Report post Posted May 12, 2007 Hey, me and my gf wanna know when the hardys had their WWF/E debut and where i can download a copy? cheers!
spman 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 That all depends on what you want to define as a debut. Both Matt and Jeff were used as jobbers for a while, the first appearance of which was Monday Night Raw on 5/23/94 where Matt jobbed to Nikolai Volkoff and Superstars on 6/25/94 where Jeff jobbed to 123 Kid. Now as a part of the regular roster, I guess you could define their debut as Shotgun Saturday Night on 5/30/98 where Matt jobbed to Val Venis and Jeff jobbed to Mark Henry. Their first TV appearance as a team was the Sunday Night Heat on 9/27/98 prior to the Breakdown PPV where the Hardys defeated Kaientai.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 I thought their 1st appearance as a team after being signed by the WWF was the night after Badd Blood 97 when Kane destroyed both of them.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 That's correct. No official match happened though, I believe.

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 That's correct. No official match happened though, I believe. no kane ran in and destroyed both of them before their macth against the Truth Commision IIRC I remember a Shotgun around that time where they were defeated by the Truth Commission. I was at the height of my markdom and was blown away by the Hardys and how good a match the two fall guys were having. I even recall a "Hardys" chant breaking out, which I thought was just unprecedented at the time.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 There's a sick Owen Hart/Jeff Hardy match on RAW back on December 11, 1995. Jeff does a shooting star press sell of an Owen clothesline. Right after Owen kicked Shawn's head off, baby!
Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 Anyone else remember when Michael Hayes took the Hardyz under his wing and gave them their new look? I even remember there being a six man tag match on RAW where Hayes teamed with Matt & Jeff, and actually looked quite good in the ring! I really wish Hayes had stayed in that manager role longer, personally.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 Again, at the height of my markdom, The Brood had a hell of a six-man tag with the Hardys and Hayes in the spring of '99 on Raw....the last before Over The Edge, if I'm not mistaken. It was used as a filler match to calm down the crowd after Triple H beat the casket The Rock was in with a sledgehammer.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 The Hardys and Hayes had a 3-on-2 match against the pre-APA Acolytes (Ministry version) in the summer of '99.

JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 I was at the Monday Night Raw, two weeks after King of the Ring '99, where the Hardy Boys won the tag titles from the Acolytes out of nowhere. That was a nice little moment to see the new guys win the tag titles in their homestate.

Funny to see one of the Acolytes out cold on the steel steps and a few minutes later in the back talking about how sore his neck is.

Right, remember when SNH was taped like 2 week sahead of time due to the fact that RAW aired live one week, then was taped the next day for the next monday
landy1987 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2007 I've just put this on Youtube - this was the Hardys first match as a tag team to air on WWF TV, against the New Rockers on Superstars 6-1-96. I've also put up a Bundy/Jeff Hardy squash from 12-11-94 if you look on my profile page. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ziqNNEUf8A

Ross Report would always have the spoilers, which kind of ruined the whole week for hardcore fans.
