Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 God damn Bronson Arroyo. What the hell is wrong with him? Was last year just a fluke? The league caught up to him. I predicted this about a year ago.
vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 Or his career hawking new and used cars in the Cincinatti area. Please. That's Ryan Freel's gig. Bah! Do you mean to tell me that Freel has a better commercial than ?
Mik 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 Shit in a commercial? Nice. In case no one else has noticed, Miguel Cabrera has gotten so fat that he's injuring himself running to first base. Yet still hitting .320. KEEP HIM AWAY FROM THE POST GAME SPREAD.

Bored 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 This series is going to be ugly if the A's don't pull it out as a Haren/Tavarez match up looked like a near lock for a win. Or maybe it will turn ugly for the Red Sox, what do I know? I suppose it is worth mentioning tonight Trevor Hoffman became the first pitcher ever to reach 500 career saves. NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 When is Piazza due back into the A's lineup?
Bored 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 End of the month maybe. With Jason Kendall hitting like a pitcher they really are considering having Piazza split time behind the plate and DH when he comes back. Kendall/Piazza is quite the catcher platoon...circa 1998. TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 Yanks hope to catch lightning in a bottle again like in 2006 with Sydney Ponson, they went out and signed Runelvys Hernandez to a minor league deal.
Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 Fat Elvys just got the boot from Pawtucket last week. Well, technically, he opted out but the team told him that he wasn't getting a shot this year.

EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 Yanks hope to catch lightning in a bottle again like in 2006 with Sydney Ponson, they went out and signed Runelvys Hernandez to a minor league deal. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees are downright comical. Colter Bean is listed at 255 lbs. The recently called up Chris Britton is 280 lbs. Ron Villone is 245 lbs. Runelvys Hernandez is listed at 250 but is assuredly bigger. When they said the SWB Yankees would be the biggest thing in minor league baseball, I didn't know they were talking about their pitching staff.
Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 The big league squad might have to cut back on payroll just to afford the post-game spread for Scranton.

treble 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 Tomo Ohka DFAed, so when Gregg Zaun comes off the DL tomorrow, the Jays will have 4 catchers (Zaun, Phillips, Fasano, and Thigpen) on the 25-man roster.
vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 Hunter Pence has something like 19 multi-hit games since being called up this season. Lance Berkman has 2 homeruns in his last 3 at-bats (including a monster shot just a second ago). Willy Taveras hit his first homerun in 378 at-bats against Roy Oswalt. Josh Fogg has absolutely ridiculous sideburns.

sfaJack 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2007 I don't want him to get it just so ESPN won't spend the next 10 days talking about how magical Schilling's no-hitter is/was, his place in history as the greatest Red Sox pitcher EVER, and running a "feature stoyr" on the website where they rank all the no-hitters ever thrown.
