Smart Mark Radio to debut

Recommended Posts

I'm on the webpage... and nowhere do I see instructions on how to listen to this. Do we have to register an account just to hear it?

Secret Agent can verify, but I believe there's a "listen live" button that comes up when the show goes live.

And Johnny, to this day I think I've heard five minutes of Skull Radio, but yeah, I stole your idea, alright? Happy now?

I think a small shout out to listen might be cool, and we can do the same on our end of the premier show. As far as being happy, I will be come Wedensday. :P

How do I listen to a show?

To listen to a live show click on the click to listen button on the host channel page. Your computer must have the Windows Media Player. You can download the latest version at the Windows Media Download Site. There is a version of Windows Media Player for Mac users as well. Mac users can also download Flip4Mac for the QuickTime player.

Also, use the following link for today's show:

JHawk,

Think it would help at all to use a landline instead of a cell phone for the next show? Not that it hurt the show that badly but it might save on the couple of dropouts that happened.

I don't have access to a landline with free long distance, but it probably would help.

Skype is something like 24.99 for a full year of unlimited long distance calling, which is what I use for Skull Radio. Yahoo Phone has something similar and suposedly is the best quality of the two but I haven't personally tried it yet.

I do know with Skype it slurs your "S" when you talk for some reason.

I actually do want to use Skype but right this second I don't have the cash for the credits. Once I do that's probably the direction I'll go.

I am actually in the process of contacting some current and former wrestlers about potentially doing interviews, but as of yet no responses.

Just a note about the contest.

You are still welcome to submit entries if you like, but in light of the ongoing situation with Chris Benoit, I'm going to wait at least an extra week to pick a winner (if I decide to pick a winner at all). It's just not in good taste at this point.

DOn't forget that episode two is at 5pm Eastern this afternoon.

Somehow I doubt we'll cover much more than the Benoit situation, but call in anyway.

Still about half an hour before we start, Luke.

This is the week to vent about Benoit if you're gonna do it.

Arrgh, it's not working. Maybe it's cuz I'm on a Mac, I dunno, I click on "listen", and it downloads a file called "Stream15.asx.asf" which my computer can apparently do nothing with. Weird, cuz I could listen to last week's archived show just fine.

Seems to be a few technical difficulties this week...

I'm not sure if it's just my pc, but the feed keeps cutting out.
