I saw this monstrosity sitting in the cooler today at the corner store, and all I can think is, "What the hell?"

 

I'm too scared to try this.

Haven't you guys ever had a red beer or bloody eyeball before? Same thing essentially. Sure, I think it's disgusting, but it's not that strange of a product to promote.

I'd like to note that it seemed like that was made in a spanish speaking country, judging from the can. It says on the label, "The Perfect Combination".

 

I'm stopping by safeway later tonight to see if they have it.

Both of those are vaguely true, I just think the second beverage is disgusting in a manner different from the first. Tomato Juice is the primary disgusting ingredient, but to combine it with bad beer and clam juice sounds like drippings from the garbage disposal in a mexican restaurant.

 

Beef and tomatoes are perfectly fine if they're solid.

It's so you don't get drunk. I was once on an Amtrak train and the guy sitting next to me had a cooler full of beer and Clamato and ice. He drank for the entire 8 hours trip with bathroom breaks and no sleep.

From the various places I have gone to around the upper midwest, Red beer is actually quite popular when drinking tap beer. Personally I think it tastes horrible.

I had red beer for the first time the other night. It used Session and tomato juice. It was... not bad or good, just weird. Like, it was beyond the realm of any kind of measurement of quality, it was just pure oddity.
