Has an organization ever been successful in working the net? WWE tried it with the Matt Hardy thing but he blew his cover as soon he invaded WWE. ROH is trying it with the lameass Project 161 shit but everyone knows it is a work.

Well, the rumor around WMXX was that HHH would retain, so that he could drop the title to "Roots Genoa" in his hometown at Backlash the next month. I was pleasantly surprised to see Genoa pull off the clean tap-out in the middle of the ring. Does that count?

Some weird deal on the ROH boards, with someone apparently getting personal with Gabe Sapolsky and his wife and uploading pictures of them to a blog, that has now been closed. Gabe posted about it on their board, swearing it's real and that it has 'crossed the line'. Of course, he conveniently happens to leave the thread open so as to let people talk about it.

I believe Roots Genoa was the Fire Pro Wrestling/other Japanese wrestling games' version of Chris Benoit without infringing on the actual name trademark.

Can we stop with this silliness? WWE.com still lists Chris Benoit in their title history sections. It's not like they're pretending he never existed, they've just made sure not to mention him unnecessarily. Given the situation, it's the right move.
