I would get along a lot better with feminists if they'd stuck to topics that were even vaguely backed up by facts. Like, you wanna talk about how the media's images of perfect female bodies (well, perfect after the makeup artists, costumers, personal trainers, dieticians, plastic surgeons, and airbrushers/computer graphics specialists are all done with them) have a horrible effect on the self-image of young girls, then I'd agree. But if they start babbling about how the male patriarchal culture is all centered around rape and women don't need men for any reason and blah blah blah, I start looking around for some sort of phallus-shaped object to slap* them with.
