Brocklock 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2007 I think Cena's improved so much during his reign I honestly wouldn't mind if he kept the belt for a while longer. But, if anyone takes it from him, I'd like it to be Orton. He's been on a role since May. He completely turned his promos into something good, and I've really liked his matches. He's reminding me of Jake Roberts.

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2007 I called it a while ago: Kennedy will still side with Vince and get a title shot at Survivor Series, then on the 10th anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob they will of course screw Cena out of the title. It gets the belt off him for a while without him losing any face, Kennedy will move on to face HHH at WM, and Cena can face off with Batista at WM in a "dream match" of the two guys who choke at the Rumble. AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2007 I don't think the reign will end tonight. If anything, I can see Orton winning tonight via DQ, after Cena snaps and doesn't obey one of the refs counts, etc. Though it doesn't end tonight, it seems like the reign is nearing its end, so I'll hop on the bandwagon and say it ends at Survivor Series

Guest Floridian Cool Report post Posted September 16, 2007 That list has more holes in it than a piece of Swiss cheese. Didn't Bret hold the belt from WrestleMania X (March '94) until Survivor Series '94 (November '94)? And where is Yokozuna's reign?

Didn't Bret hold the belt from WrestleMania X (March '94) until Survivor Series '94 (November '94)? And where is Yokozuna's reign? That's a list that I made a long time ago in a thread that was talking up JBL's title reign. Since Diesel's was the longest one in modern memory, his was the cut off of the ones I tracked. fazzle 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Yeah, like Cena's really gonna hold on to it for another 6+ YEARS? I won't go with the pick of Survivor Series, because that's when I think Taker's gonna get the SD title back. I'll say he holds on to it until WM24, finally losing it there, giving 24 it's huge "Wrestlemania" moment.
