The Niggardly King Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SHITTY BUSINESS IT'S A GLORIFIED FUCKING CARNIVAL. IF I WERE TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION WHAT EVERY FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT HAS DONE, I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO ENJOY ANYTHING.
Jingus Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 You aren't repulsed by an organization that allowed one of its employees to become a roided freak of nature with a mushy brain murder Alzheimers retard kid murder etc Hey, stop bagging on Jimmy Snuka!
Golgo 13 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 ...a roided freak of nature with a brain so turned to mush from chairshots that it looked like someone suffering from Alzheimer's? A guy so emotionally distraught from losing his best friend to drug related abuse that he drove himself to near insanity. And oh yeah, to top it off, he murdered his wrestler wife that he sleazily stole from his boss before using a wrestling chokehold to strangle out his possibly retarded son. That actually sounds like a pretty good gimmick. Run with it. Give Vince a year.
Kinetic Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 OJ killing his wife and her friend didn't make me get rid of my Naked Gun movies Agreed, but this whole Vegas hotel room thing was the final straw for me. The Naked Gun movies must go!
Black Lushus Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I almost stopped supporting Charlie Sheen when I heard he was a coke fiend, whore addict...but then I realized he's just too cool to hate.
Kinetic Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Two and a Half Men has more than validated that opinion.
Cheech Tremendous Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Posted September 19, 2007 So what is it that sucks dick now? Sarcastic posts
snuffbox Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 If he killed his wife & kid. #37 How do we really know that's #37, though?
Guest Gym Class Fallout Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 The fallacy of comparing wrestling to any other entertainment industry has already been addressed, so I'm just going to leave it at that.
bob_barron Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 How anyone can't have their enjoyment affected by the WWE's horrible handling of both Benoit's death and the steroid issue I don't know. What don't you know? Not that hard. When I watch WWE, I'm not thinking: Wow, this company really fucked up handling a murder-suicide.
Black Lushus Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 The fallacy of comparing wrestling to any other entertainment industry has already been addressed, so I'm just going to leave it at that. OK
bob_barron Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 And this thread is pretty terrible. I mean, ripping on the WWE folder? It's not 2004
Lt. Al Giardello Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I almost stopped supporting Charlie Sheen when I heard he was a coke fiend, whore addict...but then I realized he's just too cool to hate. Robert Downey Jr. >>>>>>>>>> All
Kinetic Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I think being a pro wrestler has a lot more in common with being a touring popular musician than it does being a legit pro athlete. But, I mean, everyone's on drugs. I take drugs. Sure, they're for my IBS, but a couple of those and I'm feeling pretty good.
Slayer Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 The real murder-suicide was the WWF and WCW in 2001.
Scroby Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 And this thread is pretty terrible. I mean, ripping on the WWE folder? It's not 2004 has it honestly been that long?
The Niggardly King Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 The real murder-suicide was the WWF and WCW in 2001.
Kinetic Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 So, hey, anyone else here think Tiger Woods is really sexy?
Slayer Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 The golf course looks good His golf swing feels good He likes his chances
Slayer Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I don't know what Koh-ab was going for there, but if it's anything like his other ventures, it just reeks of fail
KingPK Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I think it was more Vince playing Jack Kevorkian and putting the crippled WCW out of it's misery. ECW, that was a suicide.
The Niggardly King Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I don't know what Koh-ab was going for there, but if it's anything like his other ventures, it just reeks of fail A missed high five for your great post
Slayer Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Oh, okay, then I retract my earlier statement, though I do not retract my sentiment about your other failures
Kinetic Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 But, I mean, he's a really good looking guy. And he's ripped. I need a Wet-Nap. Excuse me.
