Guest gfanikf Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Wow, they just used Gabe Spolsky's idea from his Guest Booker ECW DVD lol.
RepoMan Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 This is a good angle if Flair can keep winning until WM and gives someone a great rub.
CBright7831 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 This storyline was bought to you by Steve Austin.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 So it's win and you stay in. Anyone else see Ric going on a winning streak and maybe even getting a token title run before dropping the belt? Give him one last trip in the spotlight.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 So.. If Flair is in the Rumble, does he have to win it? I see Vince sticking him in at #1..
RonL21 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Im glad they've decided to do this storyline... Good Work
foleyfanforever88 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Orton vs Flair at Armageddon for the title? Flair's 17th title reign??
RonL21 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 This storyline was bought to you by Steve Austin. Give him credit.. It's a good one
Guest gfanikf Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 So it's win and you stay in. Anyone else see Ric going on a winning streak and maybe even getting a token title run before dropping the belt? Give him one last trip in the spotlight. Agreed
Perfection Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Despite the nay sayers, there is real money still to be made with such an angle with ric flair. The fans want to see him win the title one last time. Who gives a shit if its credible or not with his age (as if anything in wrestling really is) that is what the fans are dying to see. I hope they build up to that and actually give it to him...and not to have him lose in his title match.
Twisted Intestine Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 This angle will work if he does drop dead in the ring before ever losing.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 It's the Job Squads 2.0 and 3.0 in the same ring at the same time! WHO WILL PREVAIL!? Double DQ.
The Amazing Rando Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 It's the Job Squads 2.0 and 3.0 in the same ring at the same time! WHO WILL PREVAIL!? Double DQ. This needs the "Win Or You're Fired" stipulation.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Do you think the writers remember that Mickie's supposed to be in a storyline with Trevor? Did Super Crazy even get in the match? I didn't notice.
Guest korndogg123 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Lawler called Duggan a young man!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Where's Al Snow when you need him. and I like how all of Flair's matches are now "career threatening"
Twisted Intestine Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 It'll also work if flair loses his first match, tonight.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I believe he started the match. Bah Gawd he did. I'm glad he got that 45 seconds of ring time.
Enigma Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I figure that if Flair was supposed to lose, they would have made it a title match. And did Jerry Lawler really refer to Hardcore Holly, Super Crazy, Cody Rhodes, and Jim Duggan as "those four young men"? Holly, Crazy, and Duggan are nowhere close to young.
Angle-plex Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Ugh....this guy fucking sucks at promos. And at wrestling.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Ken Kennedy fights for the downtrodden lower card wrestlers of the world.
RepoMan Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I say that was one good heel promo, maybe just b/c it was a little smarky.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Ugh....this guy fucking sucks at promos. And at wrestling. I disagree (at least on the first part), but I guess we'll agree to disagree.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Chris Jericho IS The Matrix. Edit: I'm VERY disappointed in the lack of pop. Unless it's just my TV volume screwing up again.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I wonder if Jericho can still hold his own in the ring.
Dobbs 3K Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Man, Windham has let himself go a bit. Chris Jericho is on TV...has half the forum orgasmed yet?
